I figured you would have started this project a long time ago. Considering all the work you have done so far. Its not like your truck has minor bolt ons. Should be a nice build.

I have this kit I used one of them to get the inner race out with.

Hit it with a 3lb sledge a few time and it came out. Also they have a good size in it to knock the centerpin out of the carrier if you need to remove teh cross shaft.

For the inner seals I used an 18" prybar/nailpuller to pop them out. I also have a 3 ft one I use to get the carrier out with as well.

Section's dad picked up the springs tonight. Of course, Section had to give him directions - but they was backwards. So he got lost.

Now I can keep on cleaning the garage up.

:D

I never try to raise my Dad's expectations of me.

Yea, I noticed. :D

I also sent a section of scrap tubing along, that fits the bushing exactly so you can use them to make a shackle mount if you wish.

The red bushings are the new ones; black are old YJ crap.

Thanks Tom!

FedEx says my TT Fab perches will be here tomorrow. Also, the axle is now bare and gets to spend it's entire Friday in the hot tank. Plus, Dad will bring the TD springs up to Chico tomorrow night. So I'll have lots of parts to play with this weekend.

Get some pics. Can't wait to see this build so hurry up and finish!

Lol j/k, I heard that way too damn much building mine.

no seriously, hurry the fawk up.

Did you rip out the IFS yet?

Nah. I want to get everything together before that. So.. I still need the Mad4wd shackle bushings, the DOM and supplies for the steering, the 5x5 stuff, with wheels and rollers, and... the rear perches and adapters. Brakelines too. I have a ways before I plasma the front out.

I just dropped the housing off too.. so the axle also needs to be rebuilt. :D

Okay.. I just ordered the Mad4WD bushings. One down.

The axle is back and one hundred percent de-greased. But it looks like the guys didn't dry it too fast because there's a little surface rust already forming. But it's no biggie and it'll look sweeeet when primered and painted.

The perches did come today as well. They look awesome, however it looks like they'll need a lot of customizing in order to fit snug. Jey, did you have to grind yours down a lot?

The TD leafs :D should be here tonight or in the morn.
