3800 M90 Build

Do you have a link anywhere to the gauge cluster under your ash tray? That seems like the best spot to put them. I'd only need Wideband o2, and boost.

Also, I can hardly wait to see what the 'secret' welding is about. ah, the suspense.

You want your boost and AFR gauges placed where you can see them in your peripheral vision while accelerating so if something goes wrong you can catch it and abort the pull before something goes catastrophic. Placing them down by the ash tray will make them essentially useless unless you look at your ashtray while driving which I don't recommend. ;)

I suggest you mount them on your A pillar, near the center of your dashboard, or on top of your steering wheel column.

Ah yes, the voice of reason.
I was thinking cleanliness. I'll look around for a nice mount.

Here's a quick read on what a guy does for P&P of a 3800 supercharger(See towards the bottom)
http://www.3800supercharger.net/p&p.html

I see he talks about JBweld to fill EGR hole. Im guessing that will come welded shut for you.

Also this is not who is doing my p+p. this is just some guy not 3800performance.com

Ya, just a read on whats done.
If you end up needing SC parts, its worth keeping in mind that Canadian Supercharger is about 45 min from me, so I could pick up parts and send them to you if it makes sense. Just something to keep in mind.

Just noticed this forum and figured I should pay attention because my friend has a screw type m90 laying around from his 11 second buick lesabre build and I always wanted to put it on an ex :p

intense-racing.com has a ton of parts and literature for 3800 supercharger builds

Their port work doesn't look as good as 3800performances and the don't offer a complete rebuilt and p+p unit.

Got the rest of my parts in today, ill post some pics when i get home.also just got my Christmas bonus and just sealed a LARGE order with the NG at work so we are SUPER busy.after i get my intake manifold done(,on Mon) ill be sending the charger off.i should have it back in about three weeks, then its on like donkey Kong!!ill be ordering my water/meth kit and NOS kit on the 27.im going with the snow boost 2 kit that adjust w/m by the maf voltage.im only doing a small shot of nos and only during race conditions.thing i was wonding about though is,wouldn't the nos freeze the water in the water/meth when they are both going off?

starting to look like something.found out some new info also.where it enters the charger, the flange on the charger is at an angle so the pipe does not need a 90* into it but more like a 60*.that may help a little for the flow to so thats a good thing.glad i double checked because there was going to weld it at a 90* Monday!it all still need to be cut to size obviously and im going to wrap all the pipes to keep heat off them, its a shame because they are polished nice.
bad pic but here is the old and new tb.old was 2.5"OD and new is 4"OD so new is 1.5 inches larger

I think you can plug the hardware in to your computer under your kick panel, and with the software and a laptop you can do your data logging and tuning.

Looks pretty powerful.
Might be a steep learning curve though
