Heck you should build this and mount it on the roof of your X:p:

But with all the talk of the potato guns, who's bringing the moving target????:D

No chance I can bring the girlfriend's street-queen Explorer out. How about my Expy?

I m might go with my FJ, so I think an Expedition will fit in fine.

It will be more difficult to get the Expedition through the tight spots, due to it's extra length and width. I've never wheeled with one, so I couldn't tell you if it would be a good choice for these trails.

i know i had a tough time with just the extra length of a foor-door! i think the expy would get around some trails ok, but in the ruts, kiss your doors goodbye!!!!

being full width, I'd say you should be ok as long as you know when to say enough is enough. Your 2 big problems will be not getting body damage in the rear corners, and more important, if the thing isn't liftted, you be hich centering it all the time. if you have steps on it...I'd take them off now. or one of us can stop on the trail and pick them up for ya;) :p:

Length isn't really the issue (its length is about the same as my Ranger Supercab, and has a shorter wheelbase). It's the fat ass that's been a problem :D
