Dang it I am no longer %100 sure that I am going to be able to make it.....
My transmission started acting up today, its....I guess I could say loping, in 4th gear whenever I am heading up the slightest hill....feels like there is someone behind me kicking my vehicle in really quick kicks. Almost like I have a flat tire, but worse. Sooo, I dunno as of now if I will make it. I am considering just chancing it, but my main concern would be coming through the mountains. But if my tranny does blow up, that would give me an excuse for the 700R4 swap I will know more tomorrow evening.....

Jason, I got your PM. It is going to rain all day Friday and most of Saturday; I am in no mood to put a tent up in the dark in a muddy rainstorm late Friday night. Everyone seems to be dropping like flies out of this run and now it's going to be muddy - and we know what that means at Tellico.

Last week a very few leaves had just barely begun to turn so I figure they won't peak until next weekend anyway. Everybody's dropping out, it's gonna be a muddy mess, and the color isn't quite ready yet, so here's a thought: what if we delay going until NEXT weekend?

How about some input from you other guys, including those that cannot make it this weekend? Would next weekend be better for you? I say let's reschedule to next weekend.

If we are agreed on this, I could email him.... we are not cancelling, just rescheduling. If's he not full next weekend and can take us I don't see how there's going to be any difference to him.

I can't do next weekend cause someone else in my department at work is gonna be off then.

Me and a few friends are probly gonna go up on Thanksgiving weekend, ya'll are invited.

I really don't know when I'll be able to go right now. Work is crazy now, so who knows, something might come up to where I can make it. I'll see what happens.

Here's another side of it to, NOT AS MANY JEEPS, I'd say about 200 less than this weekend!!

We could all just meet at the 4 Wheel Jamboree in Anderson on Sunday!! That is my new plan for this weekend.

Its on Sat and Sun and usually starts around 8 or 9 each day. I caon't wait to see the Rockfest that Clemson 4 Wheel center puts on each year.

Depending on whats happening with my tranny, I would be up for another weekend. I do not have any plans that I know of that would prevent me from going at a later date. Gerald, are you going to email Crawfords and let him know or should I go ahead and call down there and cancel my reservation?

I'll email him and let him know we won't be coming. Is the Jambo this weekend? I heard it was rescheduled to next spring, was that bad info? The Jambo would be cool to attend! Is there a website link to the event? I wanna hang out at the rockcrawling comp too.
