With just an Exhaust, and Computer adjustment for the exhaust I killed:

-Late model V6 Mustang (probably an automatic)
-Honda accord (probably a 4 cyl)
-A couple of civics

With my 33s, lift, and stock 4.10s:
-My friends V8 Chevy fullsize 1500 at the Glamis Sand Drags
-Older Toyota Tacoma

Can't wait til I get my 4.88s installed with these 33s.:D

Well umm...people should already know my kills list...heh ;)

Killed :

Civic (Umm...worthless)
4-Banger Accord (Also, sad.)
Datsun 240Z
V-6 Mustang Automatic (20+ Roll. Not even funny)

Death :

Ram single cab (Very close. X was in a bad mood that day)

Overall I love the 4.10s and the SOHC's roar. I wish more people would take an X seriously.

Many a hondas, Boxter Ss, Mercedes, Bimmers, but i did got my ass handed to me by an old RUF slant nose..... but actually ill be going up to the track on the 14 for a charity even and ill get some good TNT time. :(

93 civic del sol ( 5 speed )
97 silverado ( 5.3 )
some crazy dude in an old wrangler
dakota ( v6 )
98 expedition
94 beretta Z24

killed a BOSS5.4 tonight. on the highway. it was dark and he saw me coming up behind him at 70 and he floored it and took off into the distance (i didn't give chase) but then later there was a little traffic and he slowed down and we were side by side at about 60 when we both kicked it down and i pulled him by about a length and a half up to 75 or 80 and shut down. i shouldn't be racing with my ticket situation, but EXPO5.0 feels the need to prove herself now that her rims are taken off and she rolls 235/75/15 uniroyals with cobra badges. lol.

anybody know very much about those trucks? this one had huge duals and what looked like borla tips. was it modified? what do they come with factory?

I pullled up to this guy. He eyed my rig and I eyed his ride. I revved the motor at the light.... The light turned green and I nailed it. I was pulling away like mad and couldn't beleive that I actually smoked a '74 Pinto.:p

Rick- you got me all excited i thought you were gonna compliment me on that kill when i saw you posted right after me. oh well, thats still a good kill for you. way to go Pumpkin!

I took my rims off and now nobody really looks at me or tries to race me. My truck looks kinda ghetto with a stock front bumper and stock wheels with 235/75/15's.

About 2 months ago I was in PA and let Namity take my truck for a test drive (since his is a 97 sport lifted) and we pull up to this light and this riced out Jetta starts wailing on the gas, so I give Namity the nod and when the light turns green we both take off and you can hear the other guy trying his best, but as soon as Namity short shifted and chriped the tires going into 2nd the Jetta totally shut it down. I thought it was pretty funny, especially since at that time I had a worn clutch and my stock open 3.27s instead of the LS3.73.

LOL i remember that i think thats the only vehicle ive ever raced. Driving with Dasfrem is funny, im acclerating as hard as i can, throwing his truck into turns and he's just sitting there like its his normal routine. though that was like the second time ive met him and now ive heard the stories and im no longer suprised. :D

run in with an modded ML430 at school

I was leaving school and this kid behind me was comming out also. Going to the next light he gets in the next lane and stays neck and neck with me until we stop at the light. It was an ML430 with a Lorinsor body kit and exhaust and rims and probably the Lorinsor intake and maybe their headers (it sounded pretty mean). I didn't think he was going to race so I accelerate normally but he stays neck and neck, so I give it more gas and he he gives it also and stays even. Then I floored it and put like a half a car length to a car length on him, then I hear him floor it and he puts like two car lengths on me and slowly started to pull away. So I lost by not that much, but that truck already has a lot more power stock and he had some stuff done to it so...... He had to of had some other things done cause I've heard another kids Lorinsor E-430 at my school and it sounded no-where near as loud or mean. This truck had a mean azz sound to it, sounded almost like a Cobra with an off-road h-pipe and flows, you know, that very deep sound.

I have never dragged anyone in my Explorer until the other day. I couldn't resist in this case.

It was a 4-lane street, and I was in the lane nearest the side of the road, stopped at a stoplight. So this half-ratted-out Firebird (88-92 era) comes up behind me. Just before he gets to the intersection, he quickly pulls into the lane next to me. Now, keep in mind, this 4-lane road turns to 2-lane about 3 blocks ahead, and I was in the proper lane. The lane the Firebird was in would require him to merge into my lane...

I immediately thought this guy was in a hurry and would try to rush in front of me to merge, given how he came up behind me and whipped it quickly into the lane next to me (as if I was in his way). So the light turned, and we both nailed it. Needless to say, it was funny. We didn't get past 50 mph but my Explorer beat him off the line and also opened distance the whole way. I beat him by 1/2 a car length, and I don't know if that's good or not. I was laughing about that kill though.

Anyway, I suspect he had a p.o.s. that wasn't running right, because there's no way a 4200 lb Explorer (even a modded one) should beat a Firebird. His exhaust was almost dragging the ground, if that's any indication of the running quality of that Firebird.

Only person I've raced was a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP on a S curve road course. Yes, I beat him, but not with speed, but with handling.

I was going to say I got owned by my dads GTP in a streight line. Um, I was starting to school a dakota but I had traffic in front of me and had to slow down, so this mo fo passes me, rolls down his window and spits on my f'n X, what a b*itch. Got up to 55 in a 35 and traffic was only going about 25 b/c of holiday rush.

sorry

I now im new but im gona have to call BS on some of these kills. don't jump me but come on I have a 97 mount and a 93 mustang(330RWHP) and no explorer or mount is going to kill even a stock mustang( a real mustang not a POS v6). and most of the ricers as much as I hate to admit it are gona spank a suv from the take off to the finish line. as far as the bmw's all except maybe the suv are gona bbe able to hand an explorer and a mount their ass. Don't hate me Im just calling it like i know it.

SOHC and V8 explorers are pretty quick. I have to admit I kind of agree with you. Maybe some of these races werent really races... maybe they were against someone that had no idea they were racing and just have a somewhat heavy foot, therefore, the people here thought they were racing. Who knows...

From what I know and seen, the times I've been to the track and run an average of 16.1-16.2 in the quarter around 85mph in the 00' 5.0 2wd Mounty I had no problem running quicker the two Durango RT's and that Civic Si that ran around a 16.4 if I remember scince it was about half a year ago.

Not sure on sohc V6 Explorers, but the 5.0's as you (97mont) have or at least the laster ones with have about 15lb-ft more of tq and 5hp are pretty quick. The only way my friends Integra TypeR can pull ahead is if he drops the clutch at around 6-7000rpm as it's totally gutless below that, I stall the coverter when I launch but the our 2wd is quicker the the awd or 4wd Ex's/Mounty's

I don't remember reading about the GT's but it was most likely Alec probably and he is supercharged with some other goodies along with other guys.

Heh, the other night though I went out with some friends and was messing with my friends 03' Cobra which is around 475rwhp and 470-480rwtq.....I have his numbers posted somehwere on this board........I got my azz handed very badly to me in a gold plate lol...I've never try that again, well maybe..heh:D

no explorer or mount is going to kill even a stock mustang?

thats not true and if you have a 330 rwhp car you should realize that. for all you know there could be a sleeper explorer or two out there that run in the 10s and quite a few of them capable of smoking your mustang. its not even far fetched at all, in fact its true. besides how many heavier than explorer/mountaineer vehicles are there out there that can fly? i know last time i was down at firebird there were quite a few lifted 3/4 tons and the like that were running in the 13 to 14 second range and weighing in substantially higher than an explorer and some running quite a bit quicker than that.

I know there a few out there that are running 13s hell I saw a sub that runs 12s at kil kare but what Im saying is the average x with a intake exhaust and so on is not gona keep up with half the cars listed and as far as my mustang the day I get beat by a big as suv Ill gladlly pull over and shake the mans hand(or woman) cause it not likely on the street that Im going to run into too many suv's that can keep up with a 12.8-12.5 mustang (thats on street tires, if real want to asure the win Ill put on the slicks)

My neighbors "diesel" Excursion was only running about 14's after the banks kit and everything was installed, it wasn't running right for some reason...well after it was tuned and propane injection was installed, he is now in the 12-12.5 range in a heavy azz diesel truck pretty crazy when he pulls up next to someone wanting to race (especially a Mustang) after they hear his exhaust and then seeing their reaction when a 6000lb truck just burned them very badly, plus he gets better mileage then most cars now.

There are so many sleeper trucks out there it's not funny.

If you ever come down here, and go to Moroso, and line up against a Tan Explorer on slicks....watch out;) cause all you'll see is tail lights down the track by the time you launch lol:D
