It's late & I just got home. I sent 2 sets out there with Jefe, did he get them???
One set were pretty new & the other ones where older but still tight.
Steve, I broke yours a long time ago!
No- Jefe left my spare parts at his house
There is a long story to the 3:
The first one was my stock 130k CV, busted it about 2 or 3 PM Friday. No spare, thankfully Gerald had one.
Swapped CVs on the trail in 30 minutes, back on the trail again.
.4 miles later, Geralds CV goes out.

Stuck the CV back together less some bearings and stuff limped it back to town.
Obviously, I have problem with my front suspension, I suspect too much travel.
I remove my shock stud extenders, we order 2 drivers side CV's and get them in early Sat AM. I give Gerald a new one back and install the other one on my truck. It wasn't very far at all into Fins N Things that the third CV goes out. That concluded the wheeling portion of my trip.
Slip it back together, drive into town. I got into go home mode which is the two ends of the CV and no middle shaft. One end in the diff to hold in the gear oil, the other end to keep my wheel bearings intact. I am rolling again.
I can make it home like that, will address my travel issue or whatever it may be and replace my CV with a heavy duty replacement from NAPA.
This will begin Wed or Thurs of this week.
Thankfully, I can drive home and don't need to take Gerald's spare.
Despite all of this, I have had a great time, did get to spend 6-8 hours on the trails and see some amazing stuff. I and others have plenty of pictures of the carnage.
Any IFS wheelers I'd appreciate your input on this problem- I will start a thread about it when I get home.
Just 1500 miles before I am home
