Hey now, not all Ford dealers are bad! I happen to like mine... dropped ******** this morning to fix a small oversight from the last time the tensioner recall was done. I asked the tech if he had any suggestions about cleaning the carbon out of my engine and he said he'd look into the manifolds and let me know how much buildup there was... when I got Jack back today, running very quietly, I asked Tewey (the Tech) what he found. He held up a very dirty brush and grinned. I didn't ask him to clean my truck, but he did anyway The tensioner is an evil part, there's no doubt in my mind. But we have to deal with it the best we can! I still have a year left on my aftermarket warranty so if that sucker goes I get a new SOHC. which i will promptly sell and buy a 302, but still...

And Dave, you're not boring at all you just probably didn't ride the short bus to school like the rest of us... Or as Wolf pointed out to me the other day:

Ouch Mike.............. that was a low blow on both of her trucks,.....Jack aint that bad, but Tank on the other hand could use a fair well trip in to the woods. We take it wheel'n for the last day and at teh end of the day take what good parts,(if any) and give it a fair well boom with the dynamite Draper thought of
