I don't think I will be able to make this trip. Gotta love navy scheduling. The days I have off work I try to spend with my wife. Hopefully another time my wife and I will be able to make a trip.

Will, what were the water crossings like last time you went? I'm back to the stock airbox and want to know if I need to do any mods to avoid sucking water into the intake.

There weren't really any crossings...you should be fine...
There is a creek crossing that isn't bad here is a video of my bud going up the creek.
He fell in a hole but on the trail you can gauge depth.

Yeah my truck is in good hands. The swap is well underway. I'm thinking i should be picking it up when I get back into VA. So the weekend of the 14th I should have my truck back and ready to go.

Yep new motor going in as we speak.

As soon as I get this new trans installed ill be up for rides and or camping in the mountains all summer...
I'll be In so-cal next week but after that I should come home to a fixed rig...
If your rig is here I'm going to have to take a good look at that doubler... I'm very close to starting fabricating the first third gen doubler w/oe cv axles

i could drive mine as it sits now, but i just cant afford 2.5tanks in 1-2 days. plus i think my fuel pump is getting worse of something, its dropping the idle and stalling more often

Ok so 2 maybe 3. And maybe just 1 if because if that Black Explorer on 35's gets sold, then i'm **** out of luck!

And apparently that explorer has an electrical short somewhere...one thing after another! Ah well, that's love I guess.
