Hey, everybody
Well, I finally have a chance to post a message. I made it back today (Tuesday) without any problems (11 hours). I even washed my truck already. Best way to find if trail pinstriping is just dust or real damage. Unfortunately, some didn't wash off. Guess it's time to get out the McGuire's. No other damage, at least none that I have found.
Considering some of the places I took the truck, it's actually not too bad. Hidden Canyon (past the official turnaround), Hidden Canyon Overlook, Bartlett Overlook, Top of the World, the first couple miles of White Rim on Monday morning (damn, one of these times I'm gonna do all of that trail) and then a few other places in Canyonland Park Monday afternoon and a ride-a-long with Matt on Saturday on Porcupine Trail.
Man, all I can say is: I had a great time.
It was great to get reacquainted with old friends and meet new ones, which is what these runs are all about. Sure, the wheeling is great, but the people are even more important. For what it's worth, in my opinion we have a great little community going here.
Looking forward to the next time I have a chance to do this, whenever that might be.
