Yeah, it's actually really easy. Just take off the trunk interior panels, then there is a few bolts that hold it in. You can unscrew the bolts and not worry about it falling out. There is some type of rubber sticky gasket between the window and the body. You have to just go along the window with your hand to break the seal. It's a little easier with two people, one outside holding it from falling and one inside pushing it out.

i'll be doing that soon. i am going to switch trim pieces to the later years trim piece back there and have some metal work that should be sanded right up to the edge etc. in that area

Update 5/20/06.

Trunks almost finished.

You know what, I think I remember seeing your truck all stripped apart in your new seats thread. Then again, I think your truck has been stripped in every thread lol. Keep it going mang :)

Nothing much going on over here due to the weather. I did get the roof sanded down.

I thought some of you might find this pic funny, everyone is always downing Fords but they always seem to be helping out. Our other 1995 Expo EB.

I work with a guy who say's would never buy a Ford. He rants and raves about his Nissan Murano, LOL He tells me how he beat up on a Durango. I told him he should put a lift on it, LOL

thats a cool project, i take its its going to be solid white in the end? doing anything interior wise?

thanks  , i have a chevy. it'll work again someday  . hopefully soon since gas is still in the mid high 2$ range.

dont worry, after my last newer gm car (99 trans am) i probly wont be going for anymore. they seemed to chince out on the important little things, like weather tight connectors in the engine bay... now thats cool.

I actually laughed pretty hard when you said that about the Murano. A buddy of mine owns one and thinks he owns the highway/offroad. lol If the explorer is considered an SUV, I'm really not sure what you would call the Murano, minivan maybe.

To tell you the honest truth, I'm really not sure where the truck is going at this point. My original idea was to paint the whole thing solid white and get rid of the two tune, which is still my major plan, although nothing is written in stone. I have a few small ideas here and there. My real plan is to just make the truck unique, nothing crazy, just unique.

I thought the same thing, if the Murano is an SUV, what are Explorer's. I told him I have a truck now, lol The Murano is a new kind of Station Wagon in my book, LOL Actually, I told him that it's not an SUV, but a Hybrid that kinda pissed him off, what an #######.
