I am having a heck of a time trying to get brake lines for my swap. Eather i cant find an end that fits caliper or I cant find a way to adapt to the caliper. The stock ranger lines banjo is to small to fit the bolt for the new calipers bolt. What did you guys use for brake lines? Got any partnumbers I can try?

I know Yomie said he used Rubicon Express extended lines and they bolted right up the stock joint. However, this was for an HP30, but they may have some that would work for the 44.

Yers i used RE-1550 with no mods, that is with jeep calipers though. Ask Jefe what he used i know he had a custom 44 though.

i used my stock front brake lines on my dana 44 and a 94 explorer rear drum brake lines for my 9"

Check jrgaylors thread.. I did the same but i dont wanna steal his idea..

Those also fit my D44 chevy calipers.

I think I've also heard of people drilling out the 'block' so that the new banjo bolt fits.?

I don't have any part #s and probably won't be much help, but Mark put Pro-Comp extended lines on mine. Maybe they have something that will fit without modification...?

Mine also has some Extended Pro Comps. I would try ordering lines for whatever the axle came off of.

I swung by a place that sells russel lines. They are a division of Holley carbs. I showed him wat i needed came back a few minutes later and had it all figured out. What I like about my set up is all the ends are removable so one of these days I just need to get an extra line as a spare and it can be swapped in anywhere in the system.

you will, I am shipping it for you ASAP
Once it shipped get that old powerplant out!

Hey guys, there is a new aftermarket brake line company which is providing machines and supplies to make brake lines. I have a local store here which can make almost any line, in stainless steel.

I have had three pairs made so far, my factory 99 front lines, and two custom pairs for Corvette calipers on 13" rotors. The costs were between $43 and $55 per pair. They are tested to 3000psi. The trick is the onsite machine which does all of the work. Check around to see if you have a hydraulic hose store which makes hoses. That's the type of place which might do brake lines. Good luck,
