I have the one for Southern California. It has alot of trials and information in it but I haven't checked out some of these trails out yet.

Would anybody be up for a trail run on the 26th?

I'm thinking Miller Jeep Trail.

Sounds like fun, Miller should be a nicely beat up from the dirt bikes. I have a graduation to go to that day, but if it's in the evening I could do the run first depending on what time we hit the trail.

Hey So Cal crew. I would like to ask you all for your opinion. I currently have done the TT and shackles on my 2wd X. I have order spindles and they will be here this week. What should i do for rear suspension? My front is 1-1.5 inches higher than the rear, but i dont want my truck to sit with the butt up. Will doing the SOA conversion match the front or will it be higher? i dont mind if its a bit lower. if so, where can i buy the conversion kit and could i humbly ask one of you so. cal. guys to help me install it? Or should i just use an add-a-leaf? Thanks for any help.

Thanks. I need to get those old springs back from ya one of these days I might be able to make something to tide me over for bit, with those tires and a nice low t-case the springs I have on there are gonna look like your old ones in short order.

ok well I'm glad to know you want them now, I was gonna get rid of em cuz I thought you didn't want em, but I'll hold onto them. let me know when, but the old man does want them gone at some point.

I'll try to sneak up there next week. I've been pretty chained to the office these days so it's not like it used to be.

Yeah, the jack stand blocks were made by the same jackass who made the wooden welding table so there's no telling when it's gonna fall. :D at least if it does fall it will go toward the tires and hopefully give said jackass a few seconds to get out from under it.

You have to ask?

If I had a dollar for everytime I've set fire to the wood welding table on trash cans someone else would be building my truck the right way for me.

I've known that I need a set of tall jack stands and I have all of the tools at my disposal to build a set but instead I take my hoisting beam out of the garage and cut it into little pieces to put my short jack stands on top of.

We won't even go into how long I've been talking about building a truck. :frustrate

Can you give give us some particulars on how you are mounting that axle...you gonna use early bronco stuff or you have some other plans on mounting it?
