This is what happens when you go wheeling in the farmers septic tank overflow!!hahahah ;p

Hhhaha:)

what would cause the lock/unlock button on my drivers door to not work. also on the passenger side the lock button doesnt work BUT the unlock button works on the passenger side.
I think it's usually a problem with the switch itself. Water gets in them being on the door like that and after years a bit of corrosion and crap on the contacts.
that makes sense. as i was running through beachy water holes prior to going home and finding out it didnt work anymore lol

so.... after my recent outing friday, and dipping the drivers side into water and getting stuck.... now all the lock buttons work again. LOL

Better post a how-to thread!

HAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

Where do you go wheeling....I'm at Old Dominion University and trying to find offroad areas...but everyone keeps telling me there is none

i get so close then run into a snag. the lower balljoint on the passenger side is stuck. when i turn the nut the stud goes with it. impossible to impact it being inside the knuckle. cant get anything to fit in the slit thats in a good position to hold it.
im using a closed box wrench to turn it, i have no socket that size. this is what it looks like just incase:

I had issues like that. I put the floor jack under the ball joint and left the spring in. That put enough force on it keep it from spinning. If I had the spring off it would spin.

EDIT: in your case there is no spring. You need weight on that axle so ball joint is pushed into the knuckle.
