My daughter to be is being Stubborn! She dosn't want to come out, so t-haven is not looking so good. However we have served her a eviction notice now. She comes out by the 21st! Or we're taking her out!:p:

Our doctor induced labor with Sarah because she was three weeks late and he had a fishing trip planned and did not want to miss it.:p:

I got a 700R4 with a NP231 Tcase. Its not too much more work, just 6 more bolts. Not what I was looking forward to doing this weekend though. Oh, and I need to drain the transmission because the rear of the 700R4 is wet and seals to the adapter plate, which also has to come out. Went and bought a new plastic oil drain container today for the Mobile 1 fluid. The container is much cheaper than 9 quarts of Mobile 1.

You guys think the transmission will need to be supported after I remove the tcase and the tranny crossmember, or will it be okay to sit there for a couple of hours?

I would aleast leave a floor jack or something to support the weight. It will make everthing easier going in and out because it all straight;)

Okay, whose in charge and what time is the first run on Sat.? I want to drive down from San Diego on Sat. morning. Anybody???????????

From what i remember, the first run was about 9AM.

So who is planning on showing up on Friday?

I fly in on friday morning and get there in the afternoon... haha

Ok, so I am in for sure, with possibly 5 family members, burns, 2 trucks and and an rv, and possibly some dirtbikes/quads....

I'll be out there sometime Fri. afternoon. Nobody responded to Fakrwee statement on maybe camping at the turn around area instead of the other area. It would be easier for us RV people and there is plenty of room for everyone. So what about it? (That would be the yellow line on Colin map.)

Same here.

Let me know how early you're heading out so we can do the firewood thing...if you still wanna pick it up...then we can caravan out:thumbsup:

I'll probably leave my house around 10ish, so that would put me close to your place around 12:30ish I think. What exit are you again, Jefferson? I'll call you when I'm passing palm desert. :)
