I am planning on being there before 10pm Friday. My 3 brothers will come too and have an extra vehicle we can bring plenty of wood and Xmas trees in. Can't wait for Friday...and the wife says she will make quiche so beware all real men.

My to Do list before Truckhaven
Change all 4 tires
Change the oil/filter
try to diagnoise a damn intermittant miss
and replace the idler pulleys.
relocate coil spring
install brake line rebleed system

well if i did'nt have to spend the $$$$$ on tires then i could probably get the Cats replaced and get the smog done.

BTW does anybody know if they might have some spare space in thier RV fridge to store a cake till the potluck?

...i've got 2 muffler shops, ones by paulb's shop...i thought you needed a brakeline, thats why i mentioned jy..:scratch:
...the tire shops by me charge i think 15 bucks a tire...

No i mean't install the other brake line i got from Maniak at the last Truck Haven.

and hopefully I can find one of those 15 dollar shops to do the tires.

current plans are thursday AM, fix tail lights on the zuk, change the oil and oil & fuel filter on the SD, load up camper, load trailer with wood, and start down.. Hopefully, I can leave around 2pm, and hit truckhaven about midnight.

Ya Dave I actually have 4 brothers but these 3 are the camping happy ones. Brian, we will only use that tiny tent if it gets cold, haha. Funny you bring that up I was just thinking about that trip to Big Bear...I've replaced that tent for two larger models so we have some elbow room. The usual baby steps up to an RV.

cyber, i have cats and a muffler sitting in my back yard that you could try using. i don't know the condition cuase they came off the black ex. but it wouldn't be hard to install it and get a "pretest" but i would need em back when i get my white ex back

Cyber, I have a set of cats too, dunno the condition, but the truck they were installed on passed smog........and there's one of those cheap tire shops right here by my house if you are just swapping tires. they charged me 10 bucks a tire.

Are the parts already off the truck? and how soon would you need em back?

Would a 15x8 in the same style rim work for ya?
