Fuel leak I'm guessing. It's really not as bad as it looks!! And it's Insured thank god I spent that money wisely!!

It will buff out.

I had a glass fuel filter break on a intake manifold before and ignited. Needless to say I have never used one of those ever again.

Took about a month of cleaning and replacing the wires, hoses & belts. Just one of those things Mark. After a couple of days the mad/sad feeling turns into a feeling of fixing it better than before.

That sucks!! However, in the big picture, it doesn't look too bad. Car is still intact and it appears from the vid that the damage isn't extensive...good luck and hang in there!!

That's sa-weet... I had a 701/2. Fastest Car I ever owned. I amost lost my license got down to three points. But it was fun. Great job bringing her back to life. I like the shorter spoilers much better then the tall ones.

I so need to up date this thread. I was able to get it redone in time for Iola ks. Farm City Days car show. Got the hood done and put on the day before the show. I'm Proud to say that we took frist place in the 67-81 camaro class. There were only 2 cars in that class mine and my buddys 71 Z28.
I exsepted the prize with alot of pride.
