Purchased 6/30/2000. It was 4th of July weekend, and I took her out for some camping and
minor offroading in Big Bend National Park in 110 degree heat. I put my first scratches on her that weekend.
I was just letting her know how hard she would have to work for me.

I bought her fully loaded. I think the only option I didn't have was the audiophile stereo system and of course the hard tonneau cover wasn't available yet.

I pretty much left her stock in appearance for over a year. Thanks to this website I learned about the KKM performance filter and installed it.

LOL I know the diff needs all its mounts, I am wondering with the Superlift brackets, do they rely on this mount? I mean the superlift kit drops your entire diff like 4", I assume the superlift mounts on the factory diff mounts? I have never looked closely at a drop bracket IFS kit
I was thinking if the superlift drop bracket doesnt use this bolt hole = EASY fix for you! instead of a repair just install lift!
That particular Superlift part replaces the stock mount bracket that is bolted to the side of the differential and bolts into the same mount that is broken on my truck. I'm sure SVO can work his welding magic to fix it as long as he doesn't hit the fuel line blowing up my truck.

magic would be making said exploded truck re-appear non exploded :)

just so you know, you'll lose clearance with the superlift :( i just ordered shackles and i have longer torsion bolts.. im going to get another 2" or so. i will still run 33's, because of my gearing

The SAS is done, but I'm not sure if it will flex too well.:scratch::scratch:

Ok, sillyness time is over. :p:

I got a helluva deal on a used 4" Superlift. Here's my truck with it installed...

Just like that? One day no SuperLift, next day with SuperLift?

I might mention this

the Trailmaster rear drop bracket for the control arms, is also the diff bracket. It does not use the factory bracket hole

wanna see?

look at the far left bracket

I think the trailmaster kit brackets are a bit better--see how they are one peice?

Interesting. But is the Trailmaster lift even being made nowadays? Can you get the differential in and out of the truck with the drop brackets on? At least with the Superlift you could remove the cross brackets to remove the front axle.

I haven't put my front axle back in yet, because I found out that my rear differential mount was broken. I need to get it welded back on to the frame. :hammer:

Wow, thats interesting because I would think the little arm shooting back on the diff shooting back would break first.

Rust sir, rust.

Rust sir, rust.
Ohh gotcha, I thought pulled a Blee and high centered on an important part and broke it (like a torsion bar ;))

A couple of months ago I got 2 new ones on the front. I bought the BFG Mud Terrain KM2's.

I opened up my front differential yesterday and found this...

I have no idea how long it has been broken. Luckily I have a spare front axle and can replace it from there.
