i took a 90s chevy lumina till 80 then i let off. the light turned green. i wasent paying attention. then i saw him like floored so i was like wtf is he doing. so i floored it. he never got past 1 car lengnth back untill i let off the gas.

my truck vs chevy caviler

this chick races up teh road from behind me and blows by me. the light was red up ahead and rolled up next to her and she looks over and revs and im like ummmmmmm ur driving a caviler. haha so i lay on it a lil and she guns it and cherps second and i was liek forget this floored it and blew by her leaving her in the dust about 7 car lengths behind me until i let off. then she blew me a kiss when i turned off the road =) haha

My truck vs checy camaro v6 stick

raced my friends camaro off a light. A)i had full tank of gas B) i had 4 people total in my truck C) few cases of beer D) he just had himself... light turns green we both take off stay with eachother down a lil bit then i pin it to the floor and pull ahead 2 car lengths befor i saw the cop on teh otehr side teh road and slammed on teh breaks that was a fun night haha

well last nite coming home from bull ride mainia on rt 81, im goin like 60mph and this lexus suv gets behind me and i know the highway pretty good, and there are no cars in front of us soo i slow down, to make him get beside me, then i just floor it, and he got a little jump on me, but then a down slope came up and i passed him goin around 96mph+, i would say i got him pretty good, considering, i had 4 people in my explorer

There I was..........sitting in the Elgin toolbooth for I-90 west. It was just me and a 5 ton dumptruck. Just then I threw my coins into the basket and anxiously waited for the little *******s to settle in and let me go. The dump got the jump on me but once the arm lifted I was tearing azz out the hole. After the big boy chirped second, spilling his load of dirt everywhere, he was still pulling ahead. I then grab third and slowly start to inch him while passing an old lady in a caddy on my right. Just then he swerves into my lane trying to crush the sploder under the massive trucks wheels. After my roadrunner evasive action maneuver (tm) forces me to take ol grandma in the cadillac to the wall, I get back into it and hit the NOS to play catchup. Just then I also hit the button to deploy the secret weapon! After the 4 foot primered orange wing, with duct tape letters spelling N.O.Z (oops, need more duct tape), deploys from my rear cargo area I know I got him. I reel him in like he was driving a 10,000 pound hunk of steel (hmm, interesting). As I pass him I throw the posse sign and hit the emergency flashers. It was all over for that fool!

I know your profile says you're not in Mississippi anymore, but where exactly are you located now? What you're describing is ~15 miles from my house, and I go through there every night on my way home from work.

mmm... well stock... i could take the same cars listed for stock explorers on the last 20 pages minus the mustang and camaro claims. i lost to a oldsmobile alero and a cherokee sport 4.0, and then i got rid of my dirty mud infested paper filter and went to an autozone cone and i was able to take the cherokee sport(wasnt a huge magnificent difference, but it let me know the cone filter did sumthin) but thats pretty boring.

i took my sisters escape limited to autozone for o2 sensor, and these 2 kids my age wanted to race in some import from late 80's to early 90's era, and they were dead serious about racing. they chirped off the line and everything. but my sisters escape can actually haul with its awd(compared to POS imports anyway). so i murdered their import and let off at the speed limit of 40 mph, and they did the fly by like they won.... i got a kick out of it.

anybody know if a 2003 escape limited is actualy quick at all? my sister is a foot shorter than me so i sit very close to the windshield in her car and i feel like i can go pretty fast but i think its an illusion.

i was dead serious about that lumina..it was about a '90 with paint chipping off everywhere..last i checked they were a v6 4door chevy car..not a speed demon. he never got more then to my rear bumper. up to around 70..then i let off. i was pretty happy with my 4.0 ohv X off he line.

I would hate to see how much more you would have beaten him, if you only went out and clamped one of those really big chrome ricer things on your tailpipe. Then again, you may need a parachute for that mod.

Well it is now my job to revive old threads---

Heres my one and only so far

I was wanting to listen to music a bit louder than anybody else one saturday night, about 12:am so I went for a drive. I stopped at the only open store in town to get a soda, there were a bunch of kids hanging around.
There was a guy with a s-10 blazer who said he was looking for my SUV.

( some kid must have told him or something)
Anyway, he was from Emporia, had a 100 shot nitous kit.

We went out to the tank farm road, because it is deserted late at night.
I agreed to his challenge only if nobody followed us out there, to avoid attention from the 1 bored cop in town.
We used a coin flip--winner count to three starting light---I listened while he counted ( always call heads dummy)

MAN!! I was caught sleeping, didn't expect poo from the blazer which was neck and neck with me until about 1000 feet, where I pulled away by about 4 lengths by the painted line in road. He got onto the highway never to be seen again lol

My excuses:
I was inexperienced, underestimated my opponent
My throttle body was only opening to 3.85v at the time, due to a bracket design problem ( can you say rigged?)
My rev limiter is still at stock level ha ha

Beware the 4.3 chebby. Not only can they be built but they can also be built for dirt cheap. That kid will now go spend $500 on a nitrous cam and some head porting and gain 80hp. A guy here in town has the NHRA world record N/A V6 and i believe its a 9.90. Yes, that would be with an all-motor 4.3.

Good kill either way.
