i dont know that i will be returning there again(just go elsewhere)he's busy till march 17th.............
yeah im thinking about taking it out and sending it to levelten or just buy all the parts and have them installed....I FULLY INTEND TO BUILD THE PISS OUT OF THE TRANS...
i think i may call levelten tomorrow and see if they could just put a 4x4 output shaft in a 5r55s they have already.... http://www.levelten.com/product_p/mustang transmission.htm
plus if i get that it comes with the sct tuner and new tunes for the trans

I want to discuss my issues with a pro and decide what's best for my application...
I love the billet torque converter...theyre nasty
$3298.00 isn't that bad if you consider all the upgrades and the sct livewire included...
Doubt I'd ever have to look back... I want to be able to tow heavy loads and have a trans that will hold up...
Levelten doesn't have very good reviews overall.......
Please note that all Level10 transmissions or converters must be operated with a transmission cooling system that is in addition to the stock radiator-type cooler.
Also a consideration- http://www.performanceautomatic.com/ -lifetime warranty......... http://www.performanceautomatic.com...5r55-transmissions/5r55-s-w-transmission.html though it costs more and doesn't have a sct
. But not just rebuilt these transmissions feature high performance clutches and bands specifically designed for aggressive driving habits. Comfortable shifts around town but heavier throttle brings this transmission to its full potential. Redesigned pressure control circuits provide the best of both worlds. Dyno tested before leaving our facility these units are ready to go. An optional deep aluminum pan and filler tube is also available, a great addition that makes checking the fluid level easy.
im about to drive it off a cliff if i cant fix it right...btw 34k was under warranty 77k was $900 and 97k was $2,300-same guy-who i know is going to have some serious explaining to do....+repair work
I also had the low range planetary blow out last time at shoe creek halfway down the trail lol (made it out and home in hi somehow)
cant help but wonder if trans issues didnt play some role in that
That would be fine I'm off afternoons and weekends.
I'm flexible this weekend sometime would be fine still makin payment arrangements for paying for reman.(tax refund partially)
My old trans guy has called and feels bad (only because grandpa went n gave him ****) and still says I need to tear it down to k.ow if it should be replaced.....I'M NOT SPENDING A DIME ON THIS ONE!why spend money to replace anyways...and it won't be through him...
I want a better warranty+towing...

Sounds good, I'll PM you later this week with a meetup place and a time.
Yeah forget that other joker he had his chance.
If you need a bit more time to get the money lined up for the pan, that's fine, we can just work out a down payment or something and you can get me the rest later, just let me know.
