Since you already have dual batteries in your truck you might as well get one of these...might never need it on the trail but if you did it would be sweet!

Ive seen OLD welders that ran off car batteries. $700 is crazy though i would buy a nice mig and portable gas generator for that cost,then at least you can weld off house current and use the generator for camp sites and stuff also.

It is pricey but I was just thinking in terms of the amount of amps that thing puts out....I don't think you could get a new miller or lincoln mig that's got that kind of power for that price.

Yea but what the hell you going to weld thats that thick.way over kill dont think ive ever turned my stick welder over 200 and thats when i could weld to save my ass.i havent used over like 150 for anything now,there is ways to cheap on amps to.it is nice and compact and sure as hell would weld two trucks together! Lol

With all that said... It looks pretty neat though. I'm just afraid of what I would do with a welder right now. I gotta settle down on this truck stuff...i've been working on it more than wheeling it!

not sure I've invited them but i don't know if they will come..
i recently acquired a Lincoln 100 and have access to a Lincoln 140 that can use gas with aluminum though i doubt it'll ever get used..
props to my neighbor for scoring me the free Lincoln 100...all it needs is the diodes replaced....(hes doing it for me)

i WILL be there if it means i drive my ***** there without o/d(its already trashed& is just o/d)though i want to push it and have it replaced this coming week..

I've been thinking really hard about rebuilding my xcase with new internals swap it in, rebuild the newER one and cut it up for a doubler...
the way it looks to me ill be having some work done at the machine shop but should be able to reuse the pump, cut and weld in a aluminum plate and its a done deal minus driveshafts and how i would power/control the shift motor..really would like a all electric controlled xcase and doubler..
i really want to see aa installed doubler even if its a 1354/1350..mine would be a 4411/4411 with 6 gear planetary(not oe 4 gears on a hexagon) from 4405's



is anyone planing to camp? theres a few sites there that could easily hold double the number of trucks/ppl coming with room to spare and btw its free..

Totally forgot my cousins wedding sat at 4...
Thought about going straight there from trail but it'd be a stretch+its a suit wedding so Idk how that would work. Also ive gotta borrow the money to do my trans from grandpa and showing up just before or after having work done in a muddy truck(that I'm borrowing $$ to fix) straight from the trails definitely would be somewhat of a slap in the face imo.....#&#*$¥£¥]{£€*?#%#* Idk looks like as much as i want to go I may be sol for sat.....WHY CAN'T I USE MY DAMN CALENDAR HANGING ON THE WALL!!! SORRY EVERYONE...

After talking to DominicanX, I think we'll reschedule this one to a later date when we can get more trucks out there. A multi-day event would be good if FishFood is open to having us camp out at his place sometime.
