Looks very good. This build is making me miss my truck a lot.

I'd like to say soon, but you know how it goes sometimes.

To Do list:

  • Plumb trans lines
  • Adjust shifter
  • Finish engine cage
  • Mount coilover resivoir
  • Swap rear axles
  • Swap rear springs
  • Rear driveshaft
  • Rear axle shafts
  • Mount e-brake handle
  • Misc wiring

Are you keeping the bed or reusing the flatbed from your old ranger? Or new plans?

Considering the flat bed is in about 4 pieces on the side of my house I will say he is keeping the stock bed. At least until I talk him into going out to Johnson Valley. Then after that it might be getting a flat bed :D

Make sure and do this up with a CAD so I won't have to do any measurements, just copy yours!:D

Sorry, no Central Axle Disconnect being used.:D

Although there are plenty of SAS'd trucks in the San Diego area for measurements.

Did you at least keep the PVC links?

ITS ALIVE!!!

She fired right up on the second crank. Was a little worried about the clutch bypass plug and no neutral safety switch, but she fired right up! Loud as hell with no exhaust and 3 idiot lights showing on the dash though, but no fluid leaks.

Now just need to finish the rear brakes and she'll move and stop under her own power.

...Congrats on firing up your new beast...:biggthump

I picked up this gem this morning to round out the 1 ton brake setup that I'm running.

As far as I can tell its mostly a bolt in deal. Two of the studs need to be moved up .500" to bolt up. The pressure hoses match up to the steering gear (need to check length). And the pumps are the same between my '02 F250 and the Ranger. The only difference I've found is that the SuperDuty pump has 2 returns vice the 1 on the Ranger and the pulley is 5.750" versus the 5.250" on the Ranger.

I've got the brakes all plumbed up on the D60 and ready to throw in. Also did a little cleaning.:D

Does this qualify as a Cali Lift?

Nice prerunner look you have there.

LOL, That reminds me of when I lifted My old Ranger and had to drive around for a day or two, before I had time to put blocks in the rear. It sucked, drove around looking at the sky everywhere.

I quite interesting driving it around the block in 2Low front and not being able to see anything or hear anything but the exhaust dumping straight out of manifolds.

I am sure the neighbors loved that. I bet they all looked out their windows and scowled at you.

So how about some closer pics of the front setup?

They are used to that in Ramona :p: As long as you had a flat-billed hat on sideways.
