Well that baby has to go, Or you could just build a hoop in there like you would do for lowering a frame for a lowrider:cool:

The joys of going from a 2 piece driveshaft to a 1 piece.

Not for another four months. I am flying out to Chicago this Saturday and won't be back in town until mid September.

Where's the truck going, Bob?

Why would you have to load it backwards? Did you move the engine to the back? Truck looks good, but I think some fender trimming is in order.

Just read thru this entire thread. Love what you've done. LMAO at the pics w/ the front end done, but the rear on stock wheels! Still smiling! Happy Friday, y'all!

This truck is longer and has the weight distributed differently than the '90. So in order to get the right amount of tongue weight it needs to be backwards. If I load it forwards, it needs to be pushed all the way back on the deck.

Ya think.

If I load it forwards, it needs to be pushed all the way back on the deck..

That's what I do, Mine hangs off the back, but I also have only a 14' Trailer:rolleyes: To much tongue weight if I put it even on there. Air bags in the future will help too.;)

I'm not overly concerned with tongue weight overloading the the rear of the truck, more concerned of having too much/too little tongue weight for the trailer to tow good and not unloading the front of the truck too bad.

...Let me know if the new goodies arrive and I'll head down that way to help...;)

Been feeling like crap this last week, so I picked up a couple of odds and ends.

......Some things are missing from your post...:dunno:

Wanted to get a little more done this past weekend, but with the 100°+ weather it wasn't happening.

This weekend's progress:

As you can see moving the spring hangers forward the 6" for the Chevy springs is a little more difficult on a super cab.

Got the tub for the Bronco II tank finished today. Next weekend I'll sling it up and get it mounted between the frame rails and hopefully get that finished up.

...From the pictures, that tub came out looking sweet...

...I'm hoping this will be one of my future mods as I like everything about it...

...23 gallons, sits a little higher at the rear between the frame rails..Better weight distribution and it's kind of plug and play...

...Thanks for sharing that with us...:biggthump

Wow...Matt cleaned up his garage since I was there last:thumbsup:

2. Napa P/N 730-4958 $27.99

3. Napa P/N 730-4911 $4.49

An update on these Napa part numbers. Since you only need a couple of feet of tubing Use either P/N 730-5613 5/16" x 10' or P/N 730-5614 3/8" x 10'.

Also for the unions:
P/N 730-4911 is 5/16" Carbon steel union
P/N 730-4910 is 3/8" Carbon steel union

P/N 730-5644 (5/16" Nylon-to-Nylon) or P/N 730-5645 (3/8" Nylon-to-Nylon) unions may work also.

If you just need to replace a small length of your fuel line, Napa offers a 18" nylon line with 2 unions. P/N 730-4924 (5/16") or 730-4925 (3/8").

And for reference:
5/16" = 8mm
3/8" = 10mm
