Or I could just leave them....

And Stic, all the cool Zuk people run the TRE ontop the pitman. That's how we roll. :p

Yeah, those TREs are at about 1/2 thread though. We threaded them in halfway and then took measurements. I'll probably end up re-doing those in a couple weeks though. I'd like to go bigger DOM and there's no need to have 4" of adjustment one way or the other.

I heard that the tcase output flange should be pointed down 6 degrees, and the pinion should be pointed up 5 degrees. I'll pull the shaft and see what it comes out too.

Swapped tires.. same ****. :(

1.Ah dude.... little info there... you don't own a zuk :p
2. I'm just about to call and order some DOM. I'll have extra ;)
3. I heard the t-case is 4*. but what do I know

What size?? :D

Well, it's clear from this pic that you need to plane your felloes plate. That's for sure what's throwin' it off :D

I used 1 1/4 .250 wall. :( I want to go to something like 2.25" .750 wall. :D :D

Why? That stuff weighs a ton, besides they don't make .750 in 2.25" I think the biggest is .625 at 10.850lbs/foot

Mine was 4.5". That .5* is a huge difference when it's in...it's the difference between a perfect ride and slinging driveshafts daily! :p

Remember the front cross member? Freaking huge

Yeah but it wasn't even 1/4" thick. and it only weighed about 20lbs. You put 5/8"-3/4" thick sterring rods on and you'll just start snapping knukles and stuff. besides, it's not a battering ram  That's what the cross member was for :D

Well I let my buddy drive it and he's betting his left nut it's the driveshaft.

I pulled it off and figured out some degree-age.

The tcase is 4 degrees down and the pinion is 7.5 degrees up. So should I try and get the pinion down a couple degrees?

Thats what I would do.

A shorter shackle in the rear would help the angle, so I dunno if you're running the WAR-153s but if you are and still have the stock ones, temporarily swapping in the stock shackles might help diagnose the problem.

Orrr you could make some wedges - but thats probably more work. Or you could buy them :D

Hmm.. I've already made some stock length shackles for the my front leaves but haven't put them on it. Good idea, IZ.

I dunno how much thats going to change the angle tho. So I guess you'll have to take more angle measurements after swapping shackles.

It brought the angle to about 5.25 degrees! But it is still a vibrating *****. :(

I don't get it. I removed the front axle and remounted the leafs, ubolts, etc. It feels like it's coming from the rear though.

So, remove the rear driveshaft, put it in 4wd, lock the front hubs, and drive around in front wheel drive..

You could try the opposite - hook up the front driveshaft and remove the rear shaft and drive in 4HI - I'm not sure of you're transfer case tho since you have a frankenstein setup but see if it works.
