Shocks. Shock mounts. It stops fine now. So I'm going to do the master cylinder when I pull the front axle out for the rebuild. No reason to bleed the brakes 11 billionty more times. :p

So, I think I'm going to get some 2 degree shims for the rear perches. I threw the WARs back in and it is slightly more vibratrotorty. :( But waaaay better than it was with a bent up dshaft.

but it's all worth it when you get it done, and people are crawling all over your truck telling you how awsome it is. Or even that simple stop light where some one gives you a thumps up
Yeah that almost makes it worth it, but then you have to clean all the drool off your rig. :p Of course then theres the countless questions about how you did it that you can answer in your sleep. :D

You shouldn't have to bleed the brakes again, just pull the calipers off the axle and leave them hanging from the frame.

36 pages for me on this SAS, my friggin entire drivetrain conversion body refurbish and troubleshooting with all the inbwetween gossip and BS is only 20, and I probably have more hours in just the wiring then you have in this axle!

YOU = CHATTERBOX. get it done, geesh.

Another good point. Jefe - 2 Sextion - 0 :D

If it cools down tonight, and I am bored, I might just do it. But I leave this weekend for a week or so. So no big rush I guess. I'll probably order some shocks while I'm out of town though. :p And Josh S is pouring concrete for a tube bender stand as we speak at his buddy's house. So when I come home it's awn.

I am a social butteryfly. What can I say?

Now I thought Josh S moved up North? oh wait you are up north.....ask him how his ball joints are holding up :) I helped him with those.

<--------------------adding to the chatter!

Alright I am off, going wakeskating this afternoon if everyone shows up....

Get pictures of the girlz.

girlz? hahaha oh man I am trying to stay drama free, I just got over this last one..

LOL ahh yes the balljoints. thanks again Jamie!!! Well I swapped in my buddy's widened beams a while back, and they came with haggard-ass balljoints so im back to square one. I was actually thinking of this driving around to lowes, HD, fab shop, metal shop, etc...then on the way to johnnys to get some help with his drill press for our JD3 mount, my wheelbearing, or hub, or SOMEthing blew out on the freeway. Lets just say it was rather exciting driving on the shoulder trying to get to the exit  We got it limped home and i gotta tear into it tommorrow.

The good news is, we got the bender mount secure and level in our new concrete "chunk"! :D Then I was somehow roped into tearing off my old beams that were temporarily mounted on my buddy's truck to keep it rollable. We tore the beams off, ground/unbolted the old beam mounts to get an idea where the Giant equal-length beam mounts are goin

anyhow, long story, my truck is busted, time for new wheel bearings and balljoints tommorrow...again. which brand is good for Balljoints again?

(sorry for the hijack)...(well this thread is long enough anyways)

MOOG and Timken bearings :)

Again? hahaha

You are going 2wd with equal length now? Or is that for your buddies truck?
Section doesnt mind the Hijack it just adds more spice!

thats my buddies 4-door explo...already fully caged, full glass, deavers, had fox bypass in rear, king c/o up front, C4, tubular core support, etc...he hooked me up with his widened 4x beams for a killer deal, and is now gonna make some equal length 2wd beams for his **** with 4x beam ends.

we were gonna make some blingin rock sliders today but i gotta go out and tear into my crap again :fire:

so anything happen to it the past 3 days?
