RICK

Hey are those new graphics on your ride rick or just mud/dirt flying???

Hi Guys,
Glad you all made it back safe and sound and had a great time. I wish I could have made it and seen old friends and met new ones. But alas when you work on your own, time is your worst enemy. It's funny, some times you have the money but not the time or sometimes you have the time but not the money.
Anyway I hope to either go on the next run or get a small run together. soon I hope.
Thanks to all who sent me personal mails. I'm sorry I didn't answer them but sometimes I don't have access to my mail.
Keep up the great work Rick, Char and all who donated their time to make it ever more a succesful runs.
Hasta la vista
Tom FAKRWEE

ok guys,as for diff whacker..... heart attack hill i was in the rear but could not even reach the tire,so he was on his own and evryone was at a safe location(exept the sunday night side scraper).but heck even that was wasn't dangerous.oh as for my pop up tent? sears measures: 6ft l and 50" wide. my mesurements 5'7 l and 48 wide. oh yeah leebo all that movment, i was thinkin about you big boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I'm too much for a little boy like yourself......

Rick and Gopher,

How fast were you guys goin to lift your tires like that? Looked like Rick was goin about 40 or so.

I wasn't looking at the speedo. 40 seems about right though.

35 at first

That is kinda how the jumbping began. Gopher an myself were tearing around the wash why the other ate lunch. He told me of this jump that he hit. So I went to check it out. The fist time I came up on it I slammed on the brakes. Then called him on the radio to find out what speed he hit it at...he said 35. I didn't believe his, so I climbed into his truck and he proved it. That's when the blown out jumping comp began. There is a great pic of my truck in Peter Weber's pictures. Gopher told me that on the final run he was doing 50 and punched it right at the jump. Yipee!

Tom

Those mpgs are awesome..Thank you. I'm just now looking at all the stuff everyone posted. I've been in mammoth for the last 4 days. :)

i was averaging around 40-45, but for one of them..i think the last i was doing 50. I should of offered Rick a ride in mine on one of the jumps.

BlueDogBandit

LoL. In that one pic that Peter took. Your truck is way off the ground. It looks awesome. Why didnt you get more runs in? =)

well...let's see....

I found out on saturday that that jump broke one of the bolts to my sway bar. With only the 2 1/2" lift springs and spacers....there is not enough compression to make it soft like yours. Don't worry though, I called superlift and skyjacker today talking about 4" lift springs and pivot point drop brackets....not lifting the truck really anymore, but giving a much smother travel. I'm having Peter blow that picture up for my wall...it's awsome.

Yeah Yeah...I hear that Colin...a little more speed and you get a little more air....no prob..oh yeah except for the broken cv joint I have from jumping aorund..oh well

My Dad

LoL :bounce: My dad gets such a big kick out of the one video of my going over the little hill were Ray H. got stuck. You can even hear the guys yelling at Ray once i got over. :D :smoke: gotta love being 2WD. :shoot:

Heartattack Hill

After reviewing all the pictures that Peter took and my video, I have figured out that when I first dropped in to the hill I was further to the left than everyone els by at least a foot. Now that doesn't sound to bad, but where my left rear tire is it gets higher the further left you go. I corrected and got my front tires on track, but that hole comes so quick that the rear end obviously didn't have the time to catch up to the left.
