Yeah, that's a hard title to live up too, so the mods have to keep coming! :p:

One small mod left to do to this before the meet next weekend. Will have pics of that, and some shots of this rig in action once again. :)

I need to do same thing to front of mine. That will be nice to have, when I take you down and up level 5s LOL

Working on this rig to get it ready for the meet in a couple days and found a couple bad things. :(

1) Trans is leaking between the trans & tail housing. Figures as thats the only place that didnt get a new seal.

2) Pass side brake caliper is too tight on the rotor. It is grabbing when it shouldn't be. I have absolutely no idea why it is doing it, or how to fix it. UGH!

Installed the new rear view camera and monitor. Works great in the day time, but at night, I need to have the back up lights on to see anything.

Looks lady luck woke up on the right side of the bed today, as the caliper issue is solved. I inadvertently put the pads on wrong. Back was front & front was back. Guess it makes a difference...who knew? :p:

Good to hear!!! We want your brake woes to be behind you!!!

You have no idea! I cringe when I think of having to mess with brakes anymore. Next time I need brakes worked on, I might as well sign up for therapy!!!

1 more day until all the work that has been done gets a good workout on the trails. Either it does as expected, or it fails, either way, it has been a rewarding learning experience that will arm me with knowledge for the future. :)

Lots of pictures to be shared in a few days!

:burnout:

I SURRENDER!!!

Brakes failed again with the same issue. There is air getting into the system somewhere.

I'm thru trying to figure it out myself, and will take it into a shop to let them power vac bleed it to find the leak. I am not touching this myself again.

Might be a while, as I am totally disappointed in this right now, and aggravated beyond belief.

It's the tiny things that get us down. Like a virus, or a bee sting. Don't kick yourself yet, because you did everything anybody else would have done.

Ditto. I'd look over everything again too, especially the lines etc, which you hadn't touched. Maybe you have a line rubbed through along the frame etc, say around the gas tank.

I'm with Turdle on this, Don't worry about it too much! Of all the evil and annoying things that could be your personal perennial demon, brakes aren't so bad.

Have you considered ripping out the whole system, and plumbing entirely new brake lines?

Good god, that's a bunch of work. Is there any logic/ABS crap still hanging around?

Nope. Removed it all thinking that might have been the problem earlier on. Rear proportioning valve was added in it's place.

I was wondering this-

Why can't new lines just be placed and secured, then connected? Leave the old there-
There should be room to run new ones where you want them. Just a thought.

If the shop finds a leak in the frame line, then I will have them replace it. If they find it to be something else, then I will have them repair it.

I'm done messing with it.
