Ok, I finally got the pics. I have three mounts on the frame which will be plenty strong enough for my 2dr.

Bronco to the rescue :)

Looking good!

No, I haven't extended the t-case yet. The tranny breather hose was located near the front driveshaft (if you have 4x4). If I remember right, it was to left and above the driveshaft. Hope this helps.

i think that hose your talking about is the t-case hose.

our trannys dont have a breather hose... i just had mine out 2 weeks ago, there wasnt any hoses running to it...

hrm, welp mine aint got one

A little update:

I ordered a Wilson "Little Wil" magnetic whip antenna off of ebay. I wanted to have my antenna higher up, more flexible, and a little less visible than my current one. So my fiberglass one will probably be up for sale soon and probably my tail light mount.

Also, I just bought a KKM from a fellow EFer for only $26.14 shipped! Should have both of these things by next week. Can't wait! :bounce:

Last night I got in the KKM...then I started installing 10 minutes later. :D It was off a 2000 OHV and bolted up perfect. It didn't come with a bracket to hold it up, but I can't whine when I only paid $26!

I went to the junkyard to get the gas tank skid off of a 91 Eddie Bauer, but I found out that it has to be cut to remove it. I was walking over to an '84 Bronco II and on the ground I found a bracket that looked almost exactly like the KKM bracket I needed!!! I got a set of J-clips off of a 72 F-100 and since it isn't on their list of parts to sell, they are free. It will most likely take a little bit of modifying to get them to fit. If anybody needs a set of j-clips, let me know and I'll get you some. :) The '84 BII has a manual bw1350. I got the shift knob, shift boot and a few bolts that hold down the transmission hump plate. I only paid $6.50 for J-clips, shift knob, shift boot, "KKM bracket", and some random bolts for this stuff!

looks nice. do you have a larger (66mm) throttle? That makes the KKM filter sound even meaner!

just to mention, i was looking at your pics on your Yahoo site... that hose we were debating earlier is for your transfercase, not your tranny (so you dont have to worry about extending it).

The M5R1 doesnt have anywhere to vent... i would imagin if it did that would be bad =) Ever heard of the rubber plugs near the shift rails drying up and leaking ATF? i would imagin that if there was some sort of breather hose, it would amount to the same result: A dead tranny

No, I don't have a larger TB yet. That is on my list of stuff to get, but the SAS is what the money will be going to for now!

I just went back out and crawled under there. When I extended that thing I must not have been paying attention AT ALL!! Yeah that was the t-case breather. Also, I have heard countless times though that the tranny does have a breather.

Man, I really fell like a d.a. ;)

How much did you pay for your the filter on your breather tubes?

I only put the filter on because it was free. My dad bought a K&N intake for his 350 Chevy and it was in the package. It wasn't needed for his year, so he said I could have it if I wanted it.

nah its straight

i feel like a D.A for taking so long on doing gears...

aha my first time doing them, total time = two weeks just for the rear

Atleast you are saving yourself a few hundred bucks per axle. And you can say you did them yourself.

Its lookin real good. Keep up the good work!

Got in the new Wilson "Little Wil" and put on a 3 foot whip antenna. I also finished up with the KKM.

I must say, nice lookin X! Keep up the good work!

I added some sway bar disconnects about a week ago. Also, today I was at the junkyard again, hoping that the Ranger and BII they got in had a manual 1354...of course not. :( But I did spot an Explorer with 2 Yakima bars. I got both of them and only payed $19.22. I like these because they don't stick up any higher than the stock cross bars. I don't know how much they cost new, but I do know that Yakima is mucho dinero. Now I just need a roof rack to go on top of them. BTW, the pic only shows them before I removed the stock bars and bolted on the Yakimas.

Ummm, on your sway bar disconnects, why did you put the disconnect there and not lower where it mounts to the TTB???
