Turbo 4 Conversion, The Nasty Hoe Gets Blown!

THANX Rick you rock sir!!!

See Don that's the diff cover I'm looking for, I'm sure you can understand why ;)

And becuse it strengthens the housing and sets preload on the main caps too, along with the "SVO" nomenclature :D

looks like we need to order quite a few of those diff covers jeff.

I searched shortly for a stud kit for them, those kits are $30-$40. I wish Ford hadn't gone away from the SVO division, I liked it better than FMS.

What is the torque like on that motor?
I had an XR4ti (breifly) and it never really felt fast. It was definitely peppy and fun to hear the turbo spooling and all but it didnt feel like it had a lot of torque. I know the XRs didnt have an intercooler and the bigger T-3 turbo (bring boost in later than the IHI I think) but they weigh considerably less than a navajo. Im just wondering how much better off it will be than a stock V6. Still, I'd do it anyway for the cool factor. :)

Are you going to be running an automatic on your rig?

Sorry folks due to a few things that have popped up, this has been put on a tempoary hold.

Yes I will be running an automatic, modified to accept the manual transfer case.

Torque stock is 210ft.lbs.
