Barack Obama linked 2nd gen. SAS

Then driving it out from the opposite side would work. Take out the Aussies pin and get a big hammer. I guess GREM on RRORC had a big electromagnet contraption for extracting them. Kinda cool, but i think you can get it out with out that!
As I remember it, the center pin which normally holds the spider gears in cant be removed because of the deep gears -- the ring gear is too thick to allow the pin to slide out.

Here's a pic of the carrier before the Aussie was put in:

I had a lunch box locker in mine, that's why i said to pull the carrier out and just use a small punch, taps right out.

I'll try that -- hopefully the broken piece does not extend beyond the carrier's bearing or else that piece will run up against the housing.

no one said it yet

DANA 60 SWAP!!!:p:

zhanxy - you glistening little baby boy -- I got the measurements. Seems like I cut those figures down by about 2-inches. So..

The lower links are 38" eye-to-eye.
The upper link is 50.25" eye-to-eye.

Again the upper link, unlike the lower links, is adjustable so 50.25" is not a fixed number but thats where mine is set right now.

Now you said you sleeved the upper arm, noob question, but what does that mean?

Now you said you sleeved the upper arm, noob question, but what does that mean?
It doesnt really mean anything except for the fact that its two pieces of tube sleeved together -- not really for strength because one piece (the smaller of the two tubes) is only like a foot long. But I needed that small section because it was a 1.5"-OD by 0.25"-wall tubing pre-threaded on the inside for a 1.125" bolt -- or in this case this threaded bushing:

The rest of the upper-link is a larger tube -- 1.875-OD by 0.1875-wall which perfectly sleeves over the smaller 1.5-OD tube described earlier.

I cant stress how much i love your flex.

Thanks :D

How much you pay for that bike, I saw one on craigslist for $400obo and was wondering if it was a good deal.

Mine is an '06 so it was a litlte more than that.. but $400 is definitely a great deal - what year is that bike? I'd go check the bike out first of course before commiting to it cauz a good bike typically runs at least twice to three times that price. Ask the owner if he/she has done any upgrades to it. The biggest and most valuable upgrades are the rear shocks and the front fork. But of course this all depends on what type of riding you intend to do.. I'm going to use mine mostly for urban assaults/freeride in DC so I cant really justify the $$ for a triple-crowned fork. But the rear shock I will eventually upgrade to Marzocchi Roco as I've heard great things about them.

Soon these guys are going to be put on (HookWorms) :D
