What would you think about setting up a run aimed to bring in newbie Explorer/Ranger wheelers? Something where the experienced guys could show newbs the ropes for an entire day.

Maybe an intro around the playhills and ditches, lunch at camp and then an afternoon run to the Calcite Mine?

As for when this would happen, I was thinking this fall.

So whaddya think?

We'll decide on a date, then I'll send out a mass mailing to everyone in CA, AZ, NV and ???

This year SEMA runs from Oct. 30 - Nov. 2. so the weekend immediately before and after is out for me. Any other time in Oct would be good, as would the middle of November. I really don't want to do this on Turkey Day weekend.
