Yeah ok I see how it is Stic-o :p Wifes family getting in the way of your wheeling trips.
Well, after 15 years or so being married, you learn to work your wife's requests for trips to see her family into family wheelin' vacations. I am spending maybe two days in Prescott, then the other seven days is all fun. If it wasn't for her niece graduating, I might not have been able to talk the wife into taking our daughter out of school for a week. You see what I'm saying Stic-o?? You have to make it seem like its their idea. ;)

Where in the hell is the signup sheet for Moab '07?

I know Rick, we are a year early, but SVO and I are on the '07 list with Mudd***** as well. After this weekend, planning on the Demon Crew going together. ;)

It's about time to start suggesting trails to run. With a full moon a night run to TOTW would be cool. I also hope some of the big dawgs want to do Behind the Rocks again.

Well Rick you had better start planning now, cause we're there, no matter what!

You'd better start getting a date together and and figuring out what kind of precautions your gonna need cause the Demon4x4 are going to be there come Hell or High Water

If I can't get the Navajo there for some unknown reason you can bet I'll do like the past two time and goto Farabee's and rent one, but by all means it's AWWWWWWNN for 2007!

Jeff - :navajo:

Tracy secured a trailer and her dads dodge to do towing duties for the trip out and back. :D Saved me three grand from having to go out and buy one. Now If I can just get the doubler in and bend up a cage it going to be a fun few days of weeling :D

;) Taking Notes...... by the way let's not forget I worked the SAS in this year. :D

She's not all that bad :p

I am not going to be able to attend the event because we will be having a performance audit from the company we do most of our work for at work so the plant manager won't give me the time off.

I have a full hook up site reserved at the canyonlands that I am going to be canceling, but if someone needs the spot maybe we can arrange to transfer my reservation.

I will be calling this weekend to cancel so if you are interested in the spot send me a PM

Now I need to take notes on how you managed that!

Ok, here is our itinerary for Saturday and Sunday:

Saturday
Big Dawgs:
Gerald's Group - Golden Spike
Jefe's Group - Behind the Rocks

Stockers/Mild
Brian1's Group - Top of the World and Onion Creek if there's time

Sunday
Big Dawgs
Gerald's Group - Flat Iron Mesa
Jefe's Group - Golden Spike

Stockers/mild
Brian1's Group - Thompson Canyon

Since the group of big dawgs is so large and Golden Spike is so popular we decided to send a group down that trail both days.

Well my leave chit is in and approved based on the ships schedule. As of right now, 90ranajo and myself are scheduled to fly to Japan on May 11th or 12th. If the ship comes out of the yards on time, we're screwed, but hopefully, all will go as usual and it will come out of the yards late and our deployment will be delayed, allowing us to make it to Moab :D

Rick, will you be listing where everyone is staying, like last year?

How is the groups to be split up?

I think we're going to require beer and Dr Peppers from the participants as bribe barters to get spots on Golden Spike and split the run up according to whether you're a beer guy or a Dr Pepper guy.

I guess I'll be wired for the drive home sunday night. :)

But are you going to be able to find your way to the end of the trail after all the beers youre going to get? :chug:  :D

So, what do you do drive all night, or just until you can't anymore and find a place to nap in the trucks?
Hey, Rick; Is anyone going to be there on Thursday or Friday? We shoud be there Thursday night at the latest for a full day on Friday. Maybe someone wants to run something easy and scenic so we don't break the trucks for the bigdawgs run. I was thinking of running Top of the World on Friday.

In the past we've stoped in St George at Johns Mother-in-law's house, both on the way up and the way back.
We usually get to Moab by Thursday afternoon and run something quick by ourselves (Fins-n-things, Hells Revenge, etc). We'll be up for anything on Friday.

Part of it will depend on who wants to run Behind the rocks and who wants to run Flat Iron Mesa.
I was also thinking that rather than run all of Golden Spike I could lead Rusty Nail/Golden Spike (a 4++/5 trail) which would make it more suitible to the Extreme rigs. Of course that all depends on if I can find directions and/or gps coordinates, and if that gets a good enough group together to keep Geralds group to a reasonable size.
