So ive been looking at possible routes and where to start and think we should start down here and go up there. And those that want to run the trail back down can, and those who dont want to can run the freeways. Id like to do it both directions personally. Ive heard its a pretty easy trail even for a 2wd vehicle.

im really curious how scenic this trail is. all i hear about it is how scenic and great it is and it was a #1 trail in a offroad trail book we have. but all the pictures i've seen of this trail are simple desert stuff, nothing interesting

not to be an ass, but you have no idea the toll that could take on your truck. I thought it was all easy 'til I tried running a "race pace" for over 100 miles.

weekend bashing is nothing compared to running flat-out for hours on end.

...and the "typical desert stuff" IS SCENIC.
