I hope to have the rest of the parts in a few days-This will give me time to re-form the gas tank bracket.

For now though-I feel good that the hard part is complete. I have a set of air sheers which will go through the floorpan sheetmetal like it was butter.

I'm waiting on rear driveshaft. There is one in Joplin mo with my name on it-90 miles away.
$$$$ has to transfer from my paypal account to my bank, so I can use my debit card, then I can order the linkage.

I really want to bend the tank with some heat-so I can get a good gap between it and the case. I have time for a few test fits--no hurry. Tires will burn, mark my words---

I used a 6# sledge for the tank to yoke clearace-ing, its as smooth and as round as a softball and only took like 15 min with the d shaft removed, which takes 7 minutes - ish

I've got a bunch of suspension parts to do first, lower arms, tie rod ends, shocks. I'm still needing the aftermarket flipping torsion bar keys, and a 1.5" Addco bar. Night,

Well the bracket deal was simple, once I figured the trick out--
In my shop--no 12lb sledge.
So, I clamped my largest crescent wrench into a vise, set the jaws to about 1/8" and stuck the edge into that. My body weight is all it took,
I started near the lower end and worked toward the middle.
I have about 1/2" clearance now.
Thanks Evan for the deal on the front driveshaft--it fits great!

I had to use 4 of the rear drive shaft bolts, now I need 4 more.

More to come later, when more parts arrive

On a side note-
I think I have found a supplier for the shift linkage. He said he is almost certain to have several around. I have mine secured.
