The racing probably isn't a good idea anyway. That's a busy weekend there/everywhere. There will be lots of kids on bikes and quads, and the normal jackholes that don't pay attention when crossing the wash.

High winds won't botter me too much this time.. I'm not brining the tent.. it barely survived the last trip. I need to pick up a 4 season tent for those winds. I'm sleeping in the truck this time..

I might bring gogles though like Char had on last time..

High winds? You need a mountaineering tent to survive that.. Been there, done that at Truckhaven.

Well, it's not looking good as far as my rig is concerned. I have the new meats but no wheels yet plus I still need to make some brackets and get them welded on. I plan on coming out on Sat. for the day and catch a ride with someone.

Also got some Walker Evens street locks on order...went with those because they are the only 17" wheels I could find with the backspacing I wanted (3.75").

I'm impressed with the sidewalls on the KM2's, they feel as thick as the IROK's I had.

Did you 35 or 37? and yeah 3.75 would be a pain to find.

went with the 37's...of course Funny thing is that they are probably going to be as tall as my 36" IROK's. I'll have to measure them once they are mounted.

....i'm planning on it but don't know what days i will be there...i am scheduled for glamis that weekend too so i'm counting this as my supercross of offroading weekend...

...i will be down either friday preferred, or saturday...sooner if it is windy as i don't want to be in glamis with the wind and my newly painted fenders...
