no go for barstow for me. my drive shaft came apart on the freeway. rookie mistake, i need to have it lengthened. sooooo that sucks

ended up going to barstow. got there as the sun was setting. did a lap on the course. holy crap that course was no joke lol. i wish it wasnt dark so i couldve gotten pics of what these courses look like...

it wasnt bad. i drove it out. just swapped on a stock spare spindle. weve already pressed the broken one out and new better stock one in. the fabtech snouts are weak and no where near as strong as the factory ones.

im glad it let go in the situation and timing it did

D44 knuckles and spindle = WAY BETTER, new bolt circle?

Yikes 1.6k for the pair?????? ouch. Im gonna run a 9" soon so upgrading to a fabbed spindle with the d44 snouts, hubs, brakes and the works seems to be the best option. I've never seen or heard anyone breaking a d44 snout so it should be plenty strong. Plus the fabbed spindle will allow for upper and lower uniballs so no more ball joints to wear out.
