i was just kidding as i know froader is looking for one.... as long as he doesn't come by my shop as there is a paint and body shop up front and i guess they are doing the work on them...they had different colored ones out front this morning and they had this lite chocolate brown one that was sharp...

Now that does sound excellent. Im hoping i can make it with my explorer. Funds are kinda tight so i might not be able to afford the gas for the trip. Im trying though lol.

Yeah i just need to grind the steering stops down on the lower control arms. Money is very tight right now with the divorce and all so im saving every penny i can to go on one of these runs. I need to get out and have some fun with this truck.

pismo is killer fun...truckhaven will be a blast but it's in october and is a bit closer to you...they are two must do runs for me...pismo is more kickback and fun, truckhaven can be more stimulating, lol...

Yeah, big bear is acutally the closest run for me but i dont think the old 2wd is up for the task without a locker. Pismo sounds like a blast, as time gets closer ill know for sure if i can drive up there or not. Maybe ill try to hitch a ride with someone if i cant drive myself.

i might be going to big bear this weekend or next if anybody is still going..i just got my front gears and locker in but still needing tires and wheels...thats an expensive adventure, even used...tires and wheels that is...if you are doing a ride along count on bringing a tent...

Tires and wheels can be a killer to find. I got lucky with mine and found some 33's with wheels for 250$ with about 90% tread on them. Although im thinking of ditching the MT's and going with some AT's. I have a nice tent and sleeping bag and all that if i need it.

wow, thats a killer deal...i am looking for 35x12.50x15 a/t's m/t's and some 15x8 w/3.75 bs chrome or aluminum, no black, if you run acrossed any...my X has 15x10 alcoa wheels or knockoffs with at least 4-4 1/4" bs i am willing to use as a trade...

I got mine off of dezertrangers.com. But you should try pirate4x4, or even the recycler.com. There are lots of used tires to be had out there. Hell you could even try one of those little tire shops that sells used tires. Ive gotten some killer deals with those places in the past. My brother got some BFG 35's from a place for 200$ with almost new tread.

trust me, i have been looking everywhere...i found those deals right before i got the X...everyone was wanting 31's cause gas was going up...now 35's are hard to find...there was one add at dezert and he still hasn't got back with me....there are some on here but they want retail and 4wheelparts has them on sale but 800-1000 is not what i'm going to pay...anyway, what are you doing this weekend and next???

you should try the tires i have on my explorer now. Brand new for 35's they are like 135$ a piece or something cheap like that. They are nankang mudstar mt's. They have the exact same tread design as the maxxis buckshot mudders. Ive had them for about 6 months and they seem to be wearing very well and arent that loud for a mud tire. Something worth looking into....They sell them at big-o tires.

I have 15x8 on the goblin if you want to trade rims. I am not sure on the back spacing. I can measure it though.

They are the american racing baja style like yours.
