Mr. Heull Howser did one of his shows about those metal sculptures. They are located in Borrego Springs mostly.

Yep. That one is located on Borrego Springs Road, north of Christmas Tree Circle. Dennis Avery, son of Avery Paper founder, is a life long resident of Borrego Springs. He owns nearly all the undeveloped land in and around the town. He refuses to sell any, not even to his relatives. A few years ago, he got into metal sculpture, hired an artist to create, and place them all over town. Must be nice to be a billionaire.
