Errr.. uhm..

It only takes about 2 hrs to put the whole axle back together..

I may do it, I need to get out and wheel. Just don't count on me - yet.

I'm leaning towards a full weekend of cleanup on the zuk, and heading down to Hollister on the 4th..

ARB is fixed. I fixed it on the first try - bulkhead fitting was messed up, had to replace the fittings AND the copper air line inside the housing. The was no air line to cut down and re-do the fitting with.

Hmmm.. Only a few hours to clean up everything, and re-asssemble..

Hmmm..

Just a few spots of painted needed..

Hmmmm.....

so, we've all modified our trucks so much that the night run ditches were boring

Me, John, Steve, Dave, two FSBs, one stock. and a stock F150 for part of tbe day made for a relaxing day. Stic-O lost two U-joint caps early in the day so we took his rig back to camp and wheeled till 2. We fixed the U-joint before dinner and did a long night run, with the only problem being Dave lost a little too much air out of a tire.

Currently we have a roaring fire going, enjoying the evening.

It was nice to finally wheel my own rig for once at Truckhaven. Had a few minor glitches like the jam nuts not staying tight on my links which has an annoying clanging sound when the heims bang against the link brackets. A little bit of locktite fixed that...thanks John
appearantly I can't air down past 12 psi even with beadlocks, or at least until I get a narrower width tire than the 13.5" wide IROKS I have now, just too much tire for the 16x8 wheels I have I suppose. I also discovered that I need to carry a grease gun with me when I got wheelin, not even a full day and my new Bobby long joints were squeaking when I would make a turn (in 4wd).
So I sat out the Sun. morn run just to play it safe and hopped in John's jeep...thanks again John.
Stic-o's rig looked and performed awesome out there so everyone is gonna have to find someone else to pick on now:

Glad everything worked out Dave and you guy's had fun. I really missed not going. I'm hoping to go the weekend of Dec. 9-10. Hopefully some of you guy's can make it.
