Are your shocks allowing enough up-travel?
i know that they are not the prob. they still have plenty of room to move. the track bar should not be the prolbem. the steering is a stock explorer bar with the lower bar that would orrginally be on the d44 front end. i think that the steering joints are not allowing the front to drop. how could i test. do i need to take the steering off and then see if i get more using a lift or something

Could the shock on the opposite side be bottoming out? You know, too big of a shock, the piston on the compressed side is bottomed out but the other side still has travel. you know what i mean?

yeah i have checked that out. there is still plenty of room for the shocks to move

i need a good way to drain the rear axle. after trying to swim in that pond i now have some water in my rear axle

just put a drain plug in, thats what i thought you were doing with that PS piece

cant u just remove the cover?

Ohhh right :D - the back is welded shut...

ok i have went all out and have now made a drain plug in the rear axle.... in the 3rd member on the pinon part with the five bolts i drilled upward in the bottom bolt. fluid is now draining slowly.

new seats and floor liner

The parts ranger i bought back in febuary had some nice seats. they have air controlls for the back and bottom. the only thing wrong with them is there is a crack in the plastic at the bottom of both seats were the air relase is at. I also have the console out of the ranger up front too.

For the rear i am putting the old front seats out of my X in the rear with the old console.

The carpet has been stripped because of the last time i went 4wheeling. i am lining the floor with spray on bed liner.

Wow, your going all out on this. I like it. Especially the rear captians chair idea.

I have already taken the time and have it all planned out. the rear console is mounted and i am going to have to make some brackets for the rear seats. I am going to use some flat and tube stock steel.

I have put three layers of liner in the rear i think i will finish it off with a fourth layer when i can do the whole floor so it will all look the same

i need to find a good place to get some flat top knuckles so i can do a better steering setup. i dont want to spend a fortune but i may have too.

Sky Manufacturing is what all the kool kats are running.
