Photos Return of the redemption run '08

Someone PMed me about the quality of my photos. I want to apologize for that. I edited the shots last night on my laptop and let Photoshop do auto-corrections. My laptop monitor sucks, so I really couldn't see how they turned out until I looked at the on my desktop computer after I uploaded them.

I'll re-edit them on my desktop when I have a chance and replace the shots.

......they look great to me...

Too much sharpening and the highlights got blown out. Color balance is off on a bunch of them too.

Great pictures so far, looks like fun on some good trails, despite the wind.

Had a great time as usual. The wind sucked, but we all ate chips and dip while watching some videos. I only got a few pics from today, since I left the camera I the van again yesterday. Blah blah blah here are the pics. :)

The drive in.

Winter really wanted to watch something spicy...

Lowered my truck and tuckin' 36s...

R.J.'s new front end worked really well.

Heads up everyone, Sarah will be out climbing us soon...

...and finally, here is how today ended...

I came around the bend to find them hanging there, so I went up behind them and get the winch out. Luckily the jeep stopped. I think R.J. got some more/better pics of the recovery.

We got home about an hour ago. Had a great time! All in all, a great end of season run. Awsome pics Colin! I will post the few pics I took in the next few days. Have a motorhome to unpack and clean up. When the wind blows out there, there is dust and dirt everywhere inside that thing. It was great spending time with some of the old guard.

Wow! We got some grat pics out there guys this weekend!!!

Colin I found your friend, still on the trailer when I got home:D
<----:p:

So anyone got specs on that Jeep? Looks pretty cool.

FW axles, open front and rear, SSR tires on 16.5" wheels, stock 6cyl. (needed some tuning) leaf springs and billsteins up front. The rear looked like a custom extended RE kit with Fox shocks. The whole body was painted with some type of herculiner, and the roof is some old construction road sign, cut to fit.

10 bolt front and 14 rear I think:scratch: It looked like it was painted with some Rustolem Crackle type paint or something:confused:

It was that granite splatter paint from Home Depot. Looked pretty cool. I could see Bill's truck painted OD green with that stuff.

Brian, thanks again for letting ride along with you and Sarah. Had a great time!

I'm home.. I made it back around 5:00 p.m.... about a 7 hour drive...

I turned on the a/c, set the cruise at 72, got 14mpg.. and had a nice relaxing, if not long drive back...

the only damamge for the weeknd was my tent.. two broken tent poles, which ripped the rain fly... Time to order my metal tent poles...:)

I'll post what few pics I got tomorrow..

I did have a good time, even with only driving on one group run.. I got stuck once, unstuck two people and got to see the phone booth in truckhaven..
