holy pinion angle! Did you already fully weld the spring perches???
I'd be more worried about the caster angle thats like 20*

:p

Also, you show all these pics that look like its close to done, yet you don't have the gears setup or axles installed, no steering box, no draglink, no brake lines. . .you ain't even close buddy :p

So, the angle looks good, no?
LOL.

When you get everything set, please post the final pinion angle - I are in need of a rough idea for a final pinion angle to set the caster.

But I meant the shackle angle. :D

Ahah oh, well if you could please, when everything is final - stick an angle finder (if you have one available) on the back surface of the housing (where the cover bolts up to) and post up that angle.

Your shackle angle looks really good to me. Hanging its nearly straight down, and ride height its not too compressed so it won't go flat when you stuff a tire. But what do I know, I've never built a leaf setup before.

Looks what I did to Tom's leafs! :(

I guess the Explorer is heavier than the Zuk. Who would have thought...

Those spring bent that bad from having them on your truck for two days sitting in the driveway?

That's crazy. Good thing they did that there instead of when you were out wheelin'. Probably would have snapped!

YEAH! :D

(Jefe now say Stic-o is probbaly closer then you ) :p

hes closer to more pages in his thread :)

I never said I was closer to being done than you are. I just took the beer you gave me. :p

I'll hopefully get my box this weekend, mount it, and get it driveable again. I already have the DOM and TREs. Then it's just a matter of getting the gears/lockers installed. So yes, I have a ways to go. But it's not blocking my garage door from closing! :p :D

I'd say you mite beat me. I keep loseing days to the wife  She thinks it's ok because the t-bird gets better milage then my truck will. I say fine! you drive it, and I'll drive the S60 :p She's not buying it :( I just need to get my DOM for the steering and the shocks & mounts. Other then that and to figure out the rest of the brake lines for the front, that's it. I just need time! :(

I am in the shock thought stages now. :D I plan on making some hoops. So, what what about of travel lengths are people going with?

I'm about 99% sure I'm going with 15" BBCS all the way around :D

I know the rear's will fit, so I'm pretty sure the front will be easy ;)

Install bump stops on the front our your leafs will S super fast. Mine are pretty bad after about 5 trips on them. So bad I eather need to install bumpstops and limit straps or link the front end to fix it. Also with the rear shackle you might need to get one of those off set U joints from Toms woods I belive. The Cross in the u joint is off set to allow more travel. I am having a problem of the u joint binding on mine already and I am at about 5" of lift with the axle pushed forward a few inches as well. Coming along nicely though. Also gusset the crap out of your shock mounts I didnt and it causing major problems that I need to address. To bad my brother is daily driving my ranger right now 60 miles a day and I cant fix it.
