Johny, the rig looks great! I was really impressed yesterday and had no idea you lived that close! If you need any help, hit me up. Josh and I might be using your skills in the near future...those rock sliders and body lift and 33's started giving me ideas!

IT MOVES!

Still have some small details.

- Bleed the brakes (better  )
- Get the fuel rails off my steering shaft ( :p )
- Fully weld on the rear shackle mounts
- Get extended brakelines
- Find pimpest pinion angle and tack on perches
- etc. etc. etc.

Get back to work you slacker! :p

Whoa! This guy made is home underneath my truck.

Now that's the Real PIMP! :D

Go put your bumper back on! :p

Looks great! Good job:chug:

looks great

I am having some issues with the brakes. It may be because I bored out the Explorer banjo so the waggy bolt would go through it on the stock rubber hose. It doesn't appear to be leaking fluid anywhere, but the brakes are soft until you pump them a few times.

So I'll be ordering (or hopefully finding local) some Rubicon Express brakelines tomorrow. I'm going to see if I can get the fittings to bypass the ABS junk as well.

Then tomorrow night when Phil gets home we can set the pinion angle and weld the perches in place. I'll replace the body bolts holding my leafs in with some nice made-to-fit ones. :p Basically get it all buttoned up good to make it driveable. Then once I get home from my next out of town job (June 20th ish) I'll have the front and rear re-geared.

Sounds like a plan man. You gonna need to cut and turn the C's? or will the pinion angle be okay?

Sounds like the ABS is freaking out. Pull the fuse and see if it firms it up, thats EXACTLY what mine felt like when I first drove it, pulled abs fuse and viola, stops faster than most cars on the street.

Looks good so far mang.

I see what you're saying on the steering box. Looks like you're kinda forced to run the quadruple jointed steering shaft.

with that many joints in steering shaft, how does the steering feel?

Well I pulled the ABS fuse and relay and it still doesn't seem to wanna stop. So I'll check into some brakelines right now. Hopefully that's the problem. :o

It actually steers pretty good. I am going to have to rig up a bearing or something to hold the first shaft in one place. It likes to clunk around the firewall opening.

brake & steering fun :)

I have some airbags coming to me and then I was thinking do I really want airbags?
A good restraint system and cage would make them worthless :)
Think of all the interior room that frees up for gauges and crap!
