Just buy another and lift it. I have had one lifted and one lowered the same time painted the same color. Stick with lowered. LOL

More fun? I think not.... I have a (soon) lifted or off-road 4x4, I also have a lowered v-8 X, ohhh and a air ride explorer.... So I have the bases loaded.
The quads finish up the fun. LOL Wait need american muscle? I have a '66 stang.

I like to have all kinds of fun..

I just think he needs to keep the Mounty on the right track and get a different ride that is not so nice to off-road, cause it is gonna get dirty and get body damage. He will cry if the mounty ends up like this :roll:..."

Our truck looks pretty bad really. It needs some small body dings worked, and a paint job.

I'd rather have a sore back from wheeling, than from polishing.
My town has a severe dust problem. Small town+large cement plant=dust.

Well-I tried to install the ISOTTA universal fit knob.
Evidently their universe is a bit smaller than mine. It came with some plastic shims for the shaft, which I expected, and an aluminum collar which is held to the shaft by setscrews, then the knob threads onto it. Not only are all of the plastic shims way too small, the collar will need a bore job. I think I can make it work. I'll mess with it later--along with the plug-wiring for the cluster indicator.

I finally finished up this Mod today by installing a relay and wire harness to the instrument cluster indicator lights. The stock shift knob has grown on me. It is staying put.

Everything seems to work great. I can get on the grass by the river, put it in 4wd lo, and send instant sod in the air---

Ok
Sheri called from her Cell phone saying her car was making noises, so I went to investigate. In my rush I took no tools.

The serpentine belt was squealing like I have never heard on squeal before, it turns out, however right there on the side of the road it sounded major
So--I hooked my tow strap up to the bumper and dragged the nissan 200sx 6 miles home with absolutely no problem. In fact-in 2wd the Mounty pulled it idling.
We went about 40mph -Sheri did great for her first time being towed.
Just for kicks I put it into 4wlo for a minute-the idle torque is awesome!!!

I could have whipped that car anywhere I wanted to--

Define cheap Evan, and I have discovered that there are at least three versions of the 4406. There is one with and one without the torque on demand feature. The F150 trucks seem to be the easiest to come by, those are even lower priced with lower mileage in later trucks. So far about $400 or so for a unit with over 100k is the norm. I just began looking though.
