Danny, do you have any other pics of your autofab 2-link besides the one on page 8? Maybe how it mounts/where on the frame in relation to the front of the leafs? This is the only truck i've seen with them on a SUA setup. Do they limit droop or bump travel for you? I had to take my stock traction bars off when I put on my new springs, but i'd like to figure out a way to get them back on.
Ladies & gentlemen, I have a very important announcement. This explorer is now 2,000 miles away from me. Not because I sold it, but because I decided to accept a job in Las Vegas! Allison & I got out here over the last couple weeks. Work is great, it feels great to be back out West and in due time the explorer will make it's way here.
THIS IS AWESOME!!!! Welcome back friend!!! Can't wait to see you at T-haven We're talking about doing a Cleghron run soon, so only a 2 1/2 drive from you
As Stic-o knows, the truck is back out West. I drove it about 15 miles today, which is the first time I've driven the truck since fall of 2010. It's up for sale out here but also tugs at the heartstrings when I spend time cleaning it up and driving it.
Yup. Drove it to work the past 2 days. Certainly running very rich. I listed the truck at 7k & personally think it's a fair price considering everything I know it has. It's a bit rough running due to the time it has sat, but it works! Ideally, this truck is ready for 1 more transformation with the cage going all the way forward to the front bumper & a big v8 engine. I'd certainly make someone in the family a deal, i also have considered a part out since there are a lot of great parts on this truck.
If you try posting it to Dezert Rangers and on the Race-Dezert Classifieds you might get more bites. There was actually a guy on DR recently looking specifically for a 4wd explorer. Does it have rear seats?
Sounds fair. I would love to test drive it, but don't need anymore toys hah. Less expenses would be nice. It's sad to realize how long it's been since I've wheeled with you guys
Sold the truck last night. It is a sad day, but there is just not enough time in the year. I put about 100 hours on the boats this year, business is booming & baby boy #2 is due in March. Also, moving back down to Phoenix from Vegas as our dealership is growing into a 2nd location.
