Kewl stuff Colin I've been wanting to make a new bumper for my truck. The one that's on there is just .120 wall with cheezy mounts but it keep me legal and that is all I cared about when I built it. My next one will be pretty much the same except thicker wall steel and a hitch mount for recovery purposes.

Uh-oh...look what I did today. ROCK LIGHTS!!

First post updated with pics.

I got the lights from Pep Boys for $20 a pair, which came with the wiring harness, switches (I didn't need), and inline fuses. It wouldn't get dark fast enough tonight, so I finally just went and got some pics.

I'll take a couple pics of how I moutned them tomorrow.

BTW, these are temp mounts but work just fine. I'm going to get better brackets whenever I think about it, which means it probably won't happen for a while.

Looks cool Colin, are you using a relay or just a fuse?

I just installed a pair of rock lights in the front fenderwells and stole the wires from the cig lighter since I never use it. It's a 25 amp fuse at the fuse box so I figured it's pretty safe.
