lol, yep...spare parts are $$$$$ and no one will ever have what you need either...not a good buy...IMHO

it says it uses the 9" 3rd, and that definatly wasnt a 9" pinion

dodge/chrysler uses all danas i think.

nahh... they mostly use dana though.

i take it back on the 9.25, i do believe they have smaller shafts then the one pictured but hell im startin to give up

Suzuki Samuri?

Toyota?

Im going with late model dodge AAM or what ever it is they are called. That ring gear looks to be low pinion and have a speed sensor ring of some kind. The front axle looks to be of a unit bearing type of deisgn. The limit of 5.13 gears would also make me guess something new with not a ton of aftermarket support yet.

It is land cruiser axles with a Birf eleminator kit. He is planning on putting a Sammi T case in it And that will line up with the off set cruiser axles. Then put an 8 to 1 gear set in the tcase and he will haveall teh crawl ratio he will ever need. Perfect setup.

You will have fun trying to drive it around so cal with your new setup. You will set the record for the most fixit tickets.

What's a Birf, and why eliminate it?

Found out for myself. Birf, short for Birfield or Birfield Joint. CV joint just like IFS explorer front ends. I guess these were used in solid axel applications in Toyotas.
