That's what I'm considering for my rear cover, and polished valve covers. I got a call from a freight company today, I plan top go get the crate Monday.

Don
I have some " black chrome II" on the way, from

www.powderbuythepound.com

It is a lighter shade. You can go to their site and see it. just pretend you are shopping for some powder Should be here today or tomorrow, as they use fed ex and usps

That metal flake aditive looks damn sweet. :D

Man that looks good. A job well done. When is my turn?

I just got back from the alignment shop-

I'm gonna take the wife out for a bite to eat, but will have pics up shortly.

Boy, I like the smoother ride.

That looks great, it's a different truck.

Someday Jon, you will be doing many of my parts. I just need the money and a second ride so I can tear mine apart. Those wheels look awesome and I would love my stock wheels powdercoated like that.

Now you just need to ditch those running boards. :D

Looking good when's the next phase going to start?

I have a gallon of black paint, a pint of black pewter mettallic and a gallon of acetone.

I need to catch up on other things first though.

Well wouldn;t you know it, another distraction---

I spent about 45 minutes trying to get 1997 torsion bar bracket covers to fit on my 1998 --WTF????

hmmm, they are way different, so, I had to blast and coat my original set--

I tried getting a jump on things by powdercoating items I had scrounged over time-
I removed these from a box of parts I had received from Nssj2 lol

truck looks great, now its a truck!

Well it took a while to find the bolts, but the skid plates are all on, and all the rear suspension bolts have been re torqued and given the second going over-just to be sure
I also removed the running boards and replaced them with plastic side skirts. They were white,So, I sanded them , wiped them with acetone real good and painted them black with el cheapo wal mart paint because I fully expect to smash them-and I don't care. :D Woo hoo!
It looks a bit taller yet with the running boards off, and a black area where it was grey.

Tomorrow I am re installing the front inner fenders-and getting a 31" spare mounted on the spare rim.

Looking good there Mr. Smith -- the tail lights is a great compliment to the darkness the truck presents. Only thing that needs to be darkened now is the chrome grille ;)
