I've read a bit here and there, couple things inspired ideas on my rig. But yeah, ain't read all 184 pages worth, maybe 50 at a max, went looking for rack setup for a long time before I found the pages 😂

Still think shes just being moody, my truck would do the same sometimes. Just randomly run wierd or wouldn't want to start one day, but be fine from then on 😂
Got to treat her right: open the door for her, treat her to dinner, etc..oh wait, wrong her 😂

Or ya could be right, maybe haunted!! Ya know more about your rig than I do, could be "riding with Private Malone"! 😂

gotta brush the radiator, clean under the wipers where gunk builds up, who says these things cant be treated to some fuel cleaner now and then ;)

Did the swap retain the 95 fuel pump?

The varistor in the tank could be dirty, I have heard of seafoam fixing an intermittent gauge.

However I do seem to remember a slight intermittent issue that seemed wiring related with the95 fuel pump. The Kansas cel that went away in Colorado, but came back in Kansas.

That happened before the 5.0 swap in 2017 Jon. That was bad fuel we believed.

The pump has been replaced since then. When it came back from that swap in 2018, it had a broken wire at the pump, and the ga wasn't working. The new pump fixed that as it was a complete replacement. This issue started on the trip to moab in 2021.

Did you have your battery disconnected at any time? The torque on demand systems do like a complete reset from time and again

Not sure on fuel gauge, if it happens once it usually happens again! Pita things

Oh yeah, many times. Battery is always disconnected when any electrical or welding work is done.
Been lots and lots, of that type of work since spring of 21, when these ga issues arose.

Thanks for the brain storming guys!! You might yet think of something I haven't yet!

I seen that Rockauto had dropped the prices drastically on TrakMotive extended travel CVs, and ordered a set. They have been waiting to go in, when I started the other lca work.

Well, that's going to wait even longer now. Been in the hospital recovering from a few surgeries due to a major heart attack. Hopefully get to go home soon and start a brand new to me lifestyle.

What that entails for this rig, is yet to be determined. Stay tuned!

sorry to hear that!!!! hope you recover soon!!!! :(

God Bless you Greg, I'm surprised and I hope you recover well.

Late to this but yeah, man, hope things are all good now, take as much time as ya need, don't need to chance that again. Hope ya recover nicely!

And dang, now they go on sale, they were still expensive when I bought mine almost half a year ago now. At least they did well while I had them

thats how life seems to work... buy when expensive, then price go down :p

Well, to be fair I bought them while they were new, weren't even out for a month iirc, so I was one of the first to give them a shot I believe. So it kind of makes sense that they were still expensive for me 😂

Oh dang! Glad you are still with us my friend.

"a few surgeries"
What the heck?
Dude are you okay???
What happened??????????? OMG so glad to still have you here...life is so fragile!!!!!!!!

Just seen the doc. Said if I pass a few stress tests, I can go home today. Full year of recovery with a lifestyle change, and a cupful of meds everyday for life.

Have a 10 lb weightlifting restriction for now, so not much is getting done to the rig anytime soon.

Lifes funny sometimes and sometimes it's not.

Yep, to quote a favorite country song.... "sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug". Hope you're up, around, and back to being the windshield soon!

My dad had a heart attack a few years back. He recovered well enough, but it turned him into a crotchety old man... hehehe Hate to think how you'll turn out! JK ;)

Thoughts and prayers my friend, thoughts and prayers.
